did the team give him one after giving him hell about the "Lucky" comment? yes-and that was sort of disturbing oh I know you have to appease the Soccer Gods, but we all know who and where we're playing in two weeks. It's on like Donkey Kong. Tell your guys to geritol it up. Tell them were coming and Boniek is coming with us!
Boswell has this Thor beard going on that ought to scare those pretty bastards in the West. MY only negative tonight was Kandji's decision making. He's not a rookie by any means, so if he wants to go forward, his first touch his finishing and his decision making on defense in the opposition's box need to improve. Some of those risky touches in the box in a championship game could cost us goals. Hopefully Carr and Clark are available for the next game. They were a big part of us getting here and deserve to play in the big game, especially Rico. Regardless of who we play in the next round,it will not be easy by any means. That being said I still think we have what it takes to win this things convincingly. Vamos Naranja!
when we win it, we will have one in the FO, you can call them and when you are downtown you can take a picture with it
Watching the Pan-Pacific championship I could not imagine him being the beast and leader he is now. Well done. Dom has done a tremendous job rebuilding this team from the depths of 2010. This year was no fluke or hot streak-only like 2011. You won't hear or see any criticism of Dom from here on out.
Back to where we belong, the MLS Cup Final! Davis was boss orchestrating the midfield, Boni was running their left side ragged. The end line run and lay off by Davis to Boni was class in any league on Earth, awesome how those two players have gelled in just 5 months. Boz n Taylor couldn't have played any better! Same with Rico and Tally, they both kept it simple and performed tremendously. I could go on and on, just powerful team unity and grit to go from the Wild Card game to Cup Final. As always,DALE DYNAMO KEREMOS LA COPA!
We now have two eastern conference cups and two western conference cups. Is it weird that I think these are fairly worthless? Obviously neither conference is our home. There's only one cup I want.
Who would yall rather play in the final? Personally, I would rather play LA, the crowd will be less of a factor, and I just don't think they're that good. Plus, we will be extra motivated from last year and we'll have a perfect chance to get them back in exactly the same place.
I've got so many things to talk about. One cool thing.... this group of about 6 Hondurans joined us about half time. They said they had never been to a DC game but they came to see Boniek. They had a Honduran flag, an Olimpia one, and they borrowed my Honduras and Dynamo flags and a Texas one and kept taking pictures. When the second half started they stayed and were doing all our cheers and waving my flags. One guy was waving my Hawaiian flag until I told him it was for a guy who wasn't in the game. Some of them were jumping most of the game while chanting better than the TA guys were. Excellent instant Dynamo fans. They were excited when Boniek and everyone came up to greet us after the game. I seriously think the Dynamo made a bunch of new fans in DC tonight.
Pretty down right now, but it's a little easier to take when it's clear the better team won. Congrats Dynamo. Finish the job.
