Nike will spin it as some all natural sap from a tree that grows only along the tropic of cancer and is harvested by indigenous people in a way that does not harm the trees. But in truth its probably some toxic chemical derived from oil that is sprayed on the boot out of a CFC propelled can by some poor kid in a sweat shop.
And its too late before we realize its actually a mixture of DEET and Agent Orange. *sigh* Nike you sly bastards...
You may already have the information you need but I can give you an opionion from someone that has both. The Bombas are great for indoor turf. I've never slipped. I recently started wearing my Trequartista III AGs though and have found that there's next to no difference in grip. They are both extremely comfortable too. I switched because I wanted a bit more protection for my foot and I feel that the Tre 3's provide that. $45 is a steal. Both run true to size in my experience with the Bomba's a hair tighter.
has anyone got any other pictures of up and coming ctr's. already got the black and orange ones but am getting new boots/shinies/underarmour at christmas and would like to chose another colourway of not nike id a decent colourway myself (is nike id still restricted to takedown models only)?
My friend received his new CR7 vapors and indoors today, he said that the insoles of both pairs of boots have the number '0000004' in them. Are they numbered or is this just for design? appleCORR
The snow leopard safari had 000000000000001 in it black safari had 0000000000002 in it i guess the ugly stripes one has 000000000003 in it but I dun have a pair. so it is logical to say the new ones have 000000000004 in it. ignore the 0000000s I am too lazy to count.
Unless you want Vapor's or Tiempo's there the only top tier boots, the only CTR's you can get on NikeID are the takedown model, though they are very good. I saw some in Nike Town Oxford Street and was very impressed, they feel like a top tier boot tbh. Also ordered myself some Clash Tiempo Elites for Christmas, can't wait.
Thanks - that seems really random why wouldn't they just out a 4 somewhere on there and drop all the zeros! appleCORR
Ya I like that colorscheme a lot. I love the blue and pink contrast. I even have a pair of nikeid vapors vii white/blue/pink. hehe
I like the colourway as well read and white goes really well as seen on the tiempos last year. Just a question to the guys who wear vapors + vapor take downs. Why do you pay so much money for a poor quality/uncomfortable/next to no protection boot? The price of them compared to other top end boots is enough to put me off along with the other negatives lol.
LOL - it was case who wanted to know Jason, he was too scared to come back with all the new kids and ask himself appleCORR
I really like the black CTR withe the pink/blue on there. If they boot wasn't so poorly constructed I would consider it. A recent comment from a store owner I know was aside from the ACG coating, which is BS anyway , the only difference between the CTR and the Trequartista is that the Trequartista doesn't rip as easily.
That new upcoming colourway is catchy and fun. It reminds me of a lot of surfing and skateboarding colours though. Has an 80's Disco nostalgia too, but I'm probably going a bit too far there. I'm not sure why, but the soles of those remind me of the T90II. Meanwhile, those new GS Concept II boots look rubbish, especially with that terrible shocking logo.
Got a mail saying the CTR360 Maestri III white/green AG I pre-ordered won't get produced. I guess Nike found out about the durability problems. Saved some money and ordered the Tiempo Flight AG. Same outsole, and I've heard the leather is really soft.
They had Trequartistas in that color, and I was really considering them. A friend of mine had Flights AG and strongly recommended them, plus they were up for sale, so I just went for them instead. Probably going for Maestri III AG (if they release them again) or AG Trequartistas in a later colorway.
Being that my knee is crocked, I can't speak to that from experience, but I would say that it is largely a matter of interpretation in that department.
To be honest, I think I prefer the Trequartista iii over the Maestri 2's, and that's saying a lot. They both use kangalite 1.0, plus I like how the treqs are lighter/less bulky and its fit is pretty much identical to the Maestri iii
