Good grief. Putting words that have me describe you as "smoking" in my mouth is gonna make people think you wanna put something else in your mouth.

What I would say is that he looks appropriate in that jersey, i.e., it's the right size, is an authentic adidas product, and has no visible "bobbles" or pulls, no letter fade/erase, or stains.

I would note that the jersey image from RCMF_K is one of the early-release kits from 07-08 in which the kits were prepared with the CL badging before FCB finished 4th and failed to qualify for the CL. I waited to get one without the badges, and if anyone EVER comes across an excellent UEFA Cup arm patch I would appreciate a head's-up.

That's a good cross-section, though; any reason for the gap in 08/09, 09/10?

    Yes, I couldn't find in Brazil ... :(

All the others I've bought in München when I visited there in 2010, '11 and '12 ... :)

And unfortunally, the Bayern Shop doesn't ship to Brazil

You are absolutely right. I take that back. "Dead sexy" was your quote I believe.
Besides the black makes my ass look smaller. Remember?

I don't get why the FCB shop won't sell the UCL kit in L/S. The fans would love to get the l/s. Lahm and Kroos were wearing it yesterday. It looks so much better!

Several questions for you guys… I used to purchase stuff from the Bayern store the last ten years or so, but in recent years have simply shopped at soccer.com for a few odd and end items. I made a purchase a few days agofrom the Bayern shop and sent in a question Monday morning to the FCB fanshop email it says to aim questions to. I have not heard anything back yet, even though it says they are opened every weekday for several hours. My questions were sent in English, which I would assume, should not be an issue. How timely are they with responses, if anyone has sent a question in?

Also, since I was ordering from the Bayern shop, to take advantage of the fixed overseas shipping… I purchased about 10 items. My next question comes from, has anyone used the “my account” and “my order” option? Because it currently has my order as being processed… but then next to every single item, literally every… it says “currently out of stock”. Do they even update that? Or is this “my order” a new feature they are working the kinks out with? Because I highly doubt they are out of stock with various items like hats, kits, balls, etc. It would be one thing to be out of an item or two, but several different items does not make much sense.

Any thoughts, ideas, or clarifications would be much appreciated. Since I know several of you have purchased from the Bayern shop before… so I am figuring some have recently, or in the past few months.

    Thanks in advance,
    Brian

Not sure about the "my order" page because I haven't ordered anything from the Bayern shop in a few years, but I've always received fairly prompt replies to emails (I write them in German though).

I can't say that has happened to me. Scholl7 is another good one to ask. Actually, Scholl7 and I just spoke and he has a friend leaving with a long 'shopping list' for the Allianz store if you are interested in putting an order in.

What are you looking to buy, if you care to share?

Incidentally, I just saw this in Large on Subside's website and decided to spend the $59 + $12 shipping to get it as I loved this kit from last year. No name and number or patches (yet)...

That Away kit (orange/infared) long sleeve looks hot on the FCBayern website. At least on Gomez it does. LOL.

I appreciate the referral, but actually I have no purchasing experience with the official site - the flat USA shipping cost that BMike86 referenced has had the exact opposite effect on my buying from there, I can't justify the total cost outlay that you've described. It's easier for me to piece together (and conceal from my fiancee) smaller orders. I'm guessing that 1) maybe they are trying to pack it properly or 2) there is a standard wait because of the "personalized" trikot.

I'll add that I am über-jealous especially of the 3L Paulaner glass. Cautionary tale: I had one for about five years until May 2010 when I had it in the trunk (in a backpack, wrapped in a towel) to bust out after Bayern beat Inter in the CL final :( So it stayed in the trunk* and, as I was turning the corner into my garage, I heard a little "ping" from the back; when I opened it up, there was a chunk of glass that broke off the rim about the size of silver dollar. So I remembered that it was, after all, just a game, got some superglue and clamps and carefully replaced it carried it right over to the recycling bin and dumped that f*cker in, seething with disgust at fate and my carelessness. Prosit!
*I've got the 1L HB boot in the trunk today...

Nice purchases Bmike! Like! Paulener class = drool.

I have the Byaern Weiss Bier glass and Pint glass. To bad they haven't added to the trophy collection on the back since!!!! Bloody hell!

I like the white and infared stripe woolie the players wear. Is this the one? I have found it on Subside but nowhere else. That Kroos kit will be sweet! I saw the home kit in person this summer and it is money!

Many a Weissbier glass has fallen victim to the dishwasher. I don't wash them in their any more.

I don't wash my precious glassware in the dishwasher at all. Only for the cheap stuff.

What's wrong with filling up your sink with hot water, add some cleaning agent, add and clean your glassware, gently take care that no soap is left, then let the remaining water drain by putting it upside down and finally take a piece of cotton cloth and rub it dry. That's how I learned it since early childhood. No need for special glassware cleaning agents, everything is always sparkly clean and crystal clear and it doesn't kill you in a two man/woman household.

The dishwasher tends to eventually destroy the brewery logos and other prints on the glassware. I've stopped using it for my collection of glasses for that very reason.

It's not only that. High value crystal glass tends to suffer from the aggressive cleaning agents and salt that is required to run dishwashers. Moreover you have to spend lots of money on the agents if you live in an area with lots of chalk (calcium carbonate) in the water or they will end up cloudy. Finally you're doing good on the environment because you need much less cleaning agent doing it the "classical" way.

Here is Torjäger (right, his friend Jason on the left) the ONLY guy I know with the adidas Bayern golf bag, in addition to the only guy with the green/black Bayern "Kahn" CL goalkeeper kit (!). Today he is winging his way to München! Have an awesome trip!
