Jurgen Klinsman needs to call in for Russia the fence sitters. Tell them this is their last chance to make the team. Chandler and Johannsonn should be on the top of that list. He should inform them that if they don't play for us now they will not be going to World Cup with the USA. For Johannsson that means never going. I almost means the same for Chandler.
Johannsson has a huge choice. To play for the team of his forefathers and the place he grew up, or play for a team that is almost surefire of making the World Cup every cycle.. a decision like that could take time. Chandler on the other hand I have less empathy for

Johansson couldn't play in the Russian game even if we called him, unless he quietly filled out a one time switch request a couple of months ago. He's tied to Iceland for the time being and you need 2 months or so for a switch to be approved.
I don't think you predatory cap. But Brooks is the biggest priority. Bigger than Johannsson by a healthy margin. He's usmnt quality right now
Yeah. If Germany U-20s hadn't been calling Brooks, I think Klinsmann would have called him in one of the 4 camps since August.
We need to focus on WC qualification. Beating Mexico, Honduras, Panama, Costa Rica, at home and away, while overcoming the usual crap that comes with CONCACAF. The only people that should go to Russia are the ones that are on speed dial for a February qualification call-up. If that's Chandler fine, if not than we need to let right back go to the other prospects for filling that position.
