sizing.. I'd say true to size, little bit overly snug in the heel area but I like that. Surprisingly they are very snug. I had the adi5 astro before and they felt horrid from the first wear, then the mesh upper just sagged. These however feel alot more structured. Sole/cushioning on them feels great too. I'm playing indoor tonight so We'll find out how good they are. As for the upper, its like 80% mesh then theres the whole toe area made from synthetic leather. It is nice and soft but feels durable, you also have the orange strip at the front so i'm sure that will help with the durability.
Yeah thanks for your help! I was actually fortunate enough to find a pair here in the city which is very lucky since nowhere here really sells much soccer equipment. I'll post pictures soon!
Love the green adizeros - wish they had of released them here in the UK. Think they were one of the best colouways in this model. appleCORR
I got these Adidas Predator Absolute's today. They were made in Germany for retired Australian rugby player Matt Burke. They're just the standard Absolutes but with the hybrid studs not the rugby version.
I did wonder why he was called Frankenstein feet cos they're only size 9 and not any different shape. One is size 9 and the other 9 1/2 but thats not too unusual.
Have them since June and they have been going strong, except for the soleplate getting nicked everywhere. This is when I first got them
They're getting nicked? What does that mean? : P Anyways, can you give us a mini-review or a rating of them?
They have like little scratches on the bottom, they don't really have any effect performance wise its just aesthetic. It's because were I play sometimes there are some small rocks and stuff. Lightest boot I've ever owned, and the leather is amazing, not too bulky but with very little puff. My only cons were the insole that came with the shoes, but I just changed them for Vapor insoles and I can play 2+ hours without my feet getting sore, and the laces were too long but now I put the nike red laces. I'll post a present pic later.
Haven't got anything new just thought I'd post my collection again, a few things missing. Only really uses the Tiempo Elites now.
I would have loved a pair but have had to stop wearing adizeros due to pains in my heels switched to LZs now which have a much better insole. appleCORR
Not at all - I started out using the ultra light and then started getting really bad plantar fasciitis in my heels (which then started to affect my achilles tendon which meant wearing a air cast for 8 weeks and wearing night splints), switched to the comfort and it was equally as rubbish, not thick enough and didn't absorb the shock, id take them off and my feel would be throbbing. Switched to LZs as they seemed to have a better insole and its 100% better hardly get any pain at all now - ive had my feet moulded now for some proper insoles but dont think ill need them with the LZs. I can just use the ones that are in them. I tend to train on 3G pitches and guess its kinda like running on concrete once the pitches have been worn down. Its ashame as i really did love the adizeros i thought the synthetic on them was the best yet. (I know you'd prefer the leather version lol ) might give the new ones a go if the insole looks any better. I know Adidas want to compete with Nike and make the lightest boot out, but imo they really shouldn't cut corners on something as important as the insole. Something that simple can make or break a boot for a player. Sadly for me it broke .... appleCORR
Firm ground , a beat up old park the only one around with Goals and Night lights, but I really don't know were the rocks come from
