Well, IX testing is probably close to final now, and it's going to be those all dimpled upper and the kanga-lite upper with no dimples.
I take that back, theres only one version of the IX...my fault.

The X has a few in testing though as I had a pair to test but they ran a half size small (mine were a diff variation) Mine were only dimpled maybe half the boot, and the soleplate was all conical similar to what you saw on neymar, but I had 4 back studs where he has 3. Then of course that crazy glass fiber one from before.

 

Just gonna chime in on the discussion of the different prototypes.

If anyone remembers the leaked Vapor VI images, they had one(or two, can't remember) sense stud. I think even some images that came on to some e-tailers' websites had sense studs on the VIs, yet the final product didn't have any. Also, some product images of the Vapor V that appeared on e-tailers like PDS showed that the boot had carried on the "blister-pads" from the previous model, yet that prototype never made the market. So Nike, like every other boot company, has several prototypes in testing for just one final product and therefore we can't always know which leaked product/prototype is which and if it will ever reach the market.

 

^Yes, but once a leak of the boot with colourways is out, it's usually safe to say that's what it will be.

 

I remember on soccerpulse i think it was, I had the V with no blister pads, and some guy actually had a pair with them... strange.

 

Guys, how do the CTR2 in black/gold colourway hold up in terms of durability? Also, I'm wearing a size 8.5vapor but there's one thumb with space and the end. Would an 8 be better fit in the ctrs?

They already had all of this CR range, with that logo on it, at the Nike store in Seoul, Korea, this past weekend. I didn't take a look at it properly, but they did have a big casual jacket with the faux fur around the hood. It looks the safe as the one I bought from H&M, but probably costs 10 times more.

The difference in nike ticks on this boot is to have the retro contrast with the modern (the pink/blue of the boot)

 

Those CR vapors look horrendous. way too much going on with them. Look like something from a gay pride protest.

Is it awkward to ask nike for another voucher, for a separate pair of faulty boots, even though i havent used the last one they gave me? My thoughts are as follows. My tiempo elites broke so i got a voucher for £275 back in march/april. Whilst i was without a pair of boots i bought some white/blue vapor 8 (launch colour) back around the same time. Anyway the first day i used them the rear back stud broke off, (I posted a pic at the time a few months back) but i didnt have any other boots to use. So ive been using them for about 5 months with the rear back stud broke, and over that time the usual problems with vapors occured; sole separation, and tears where the upper meets sole.

Anyway, i didnt use my voucher because there was no boots i wanted to purchase from nike and when i use the voucher i have to spend 275 in one bill. however, as vapors RRP is 150 i would have 125 left over on the voucher, with no real purpose.

Now i have stopped playing as much football so i can send my current vapor 8's to nike and i would use the vocuher for them to get these CR7's and i would use my 275 vocuher to get the vapor 9 when they come out in Jan (Id rather keep the more expensive voucher for the 9's because they could be 200+ again if they have CF sole)

Would nike give me a separate voucher or would they add it on top of the current 275?

Can't see your second image. Where are you seeing these for sale? That's a better indicator of whether they're fake or not. Don't think I've seen Elites in anything other than a white box though.

 

Where I work, we have both boxes, I wouldn't worry - the elites did come in orange boxes as well

Your images aren't working, but the boots in that video are fake.

 

Boots in video are fake, orange box doesn't necessarily mean fake.

I got T90 Elites in the orange box, I was literally so confused. But they were definitely authentic.

Easiest way to spot fakes is the carbon fiber bottom (fake ones will just look like a piece of carbon paper) and the real ones will be kind of shiny/glimmery and you can make out some threads etc...it's night and day basically.

Tiempo elites flywire also don't protrude so much like the ones in the video you posted, just looks really tacky compared to the real ones.
