Sorry..wasn't sure where to post this...

Well I want to go to Europe to better my soccer skills...

I'm looking to go for possibly a whole summer...next year...to train at a HIGH level with kids my age...somewhere in Europe..preferrably England

What are my options and where can I get more information?

Is there anyway I can somehow train with any professional club youth teams?

    Thanks

Why don't you go to a football school. I think there are a few around that are connected to clubs

Playing with proffesionals won't improve your skill i think you can improve your soccer skills no matter where in the world you live. Its about how good you can be and how much more YOU can improve no matter if everyone around you plays at a proffesional level!!!

the best way to improve skills is to play with better players, you don't know what you're talking about.

C.Ronaldo is so right. You will never, ever get to the standard above unless you play with players better than yourself. Its the only way to get to a higher level. Da_Man you are talking ********e, if you trained with pros don't you think you might learn a thing or two?

Oh, you misinterpret. I was just going to say that the only way to improve skills is to buy expensive signature-brand boots of players who have the desired skills.

    *holds for predictable groan*

how to begin to train with the pros ? the only way to train with the pros is if you're signed by a pro club.

You will never get to a standard above???????? watta fuk are you on about. So every great player got good by playing with proffesionals. You have no idea what your talking about mate, if you practise every day its logic that you will get better.(idiot) All of you that don't play with proffesionals like figo and zidan don't get your hopes up you'll never get any better. And its THE ONLY WAY TO GET BETTER YOU HEAR THE ONLY.

so what you are saying is that if i don't play with professional caliber players currently, i will never get any better? I beg to differ, playing with high level players (dont have to be Zidanes and Figos) will help you improve your skills and overall game. playing with players who arent as good as you will be detrimental, you will learn their bad habits. da_man, you are partially correct but you are also a bit wrong in your analysis of improvement. as long as you challenge yourself or are challenged on a constant basis against superior opposition, you will improve. you dont necessarily have to play against professionals to get better, just players who will make work harder and play smarter, quicker and more effecient.

Yeah it's not the only way to get better but it does help, becaue if you spend time playing with players not as good as yourself you'll start to become cocky and think you're God's gift. Then when you come u against better players you'll be useless and wonder what's going on. So if you keep playing with better and better players you won't become cocky and complacent and will better your own skill and temperament.

if you play with crappy ppla ll the time and school them, your not gaining anything, the crappy players are because by playing with you they get better. the point is, and has been stated, if you play with better players you get better. thats why if you wanna become pro its in your best intrest to play top flight football with players of high caliber.

lol Da_Man is the biggest idiot I have ever come across online, and thats some achievement. Listen this is the last reply you are gonna get. GO and play with a ball in your back garden all on your own and someday we will see you at the Nou Camp? I said the only way too get better is to play with players better than yourself, not Zidane or Figo. ********tard...Now how could you improve if you only ever played with guys you were superior to?

I think what you really should be looking at is this. They run decent camps, and that's probably best suited to what you want.

Unless you're playing at an extremely high level in the States and have the support of the USSF, you really don't have much chance at just rocking up and training in professional club youth acadamies. You'd be best off to try and schedule some trials with a couple of acadamies.

USSF. Often have scholarships for potential young stars to tour England and try out with clubs.

    Also:
    www.soccertrials.com

And try any specific professional club websites for info on their attached football acadamies. Spurs, Charlton and Arsenal have good ones IIRC, but you'd probably be looking at lower-division teams.

To add a bit more - the camps run for usually 2 weeks, but they also have a 3 week camp each summer that tours 3 countries (this year I think it's England, Portugal and somewhere else). The facilities they use are top-notch and the coaches are all former European top-flight players and internationals. The camps are, however, pretty expensive.

If you impress at the camp, then you might be invited to trial for the Independant European Football Acadamy. If you're not good enough for a trial, they give you follow-up development programmes.

I'm not sure how non-EU citizenship/residency will affect getting into the camps etc - you'd have to check this out.

Having never seen you play, I can still say with certainty that you're good enough for Leeds.

How crazy good do you think everyone would be at these camps?
How much do you think it costs? Do you at least have a range it is not on the site that i can find.
