While I'm not really that worked up about this switch - a weekend home game is much easier for my family - I agree there isn't much Benny could say that goes against the move. That said, I chuckle imagining what Arena would have said had something similar happened when he was coaching here. He damn sure wasn't toeing the company line. That said, Bruce had, and certainly now has, far more gravitas as coach right now than Benny (or almost any other MLS coach) has.
Exactly. A lot of these estimates are pie in the sky without thinking about what salt water can do to equipment. Also, the environmental impact is tremendous. A lot of those tunnels have been in use for a long time and they are full of heavy metal residues from years past not to think of the dead rats. Those tunnels were infested with literally millions of rats and there hasn't been a street invasion of displaced rats, so....there's some cleaning to do any way you want to look at it.
I think it's already the name of a lame sub-genre spearheaded by bands like Linkin Park. He's like Frodo carrying the ring to Mordor.
Don't forget to submit your receipt for the kneepads you wore while blowing Garber for the breaks to MLS HQ. I hope you were at least kind enough to swallow. If by some curse and/or misfortune you guys do fumble your way into any sort of success, have no fear, you'll still be a joke because it took 16 years of favouritism. Even teams as inept as yours will eventually hit a fan when flinging their own poo.
Is being a metro fool/pink cow fan like being in a weird section of hell where you "pleasure yourself" 24 hours a day and never achieve "release"? That's what I imagine its like. I'd be cranky too.
Hey folks - there's gonna be a ton, so please - don't feed the trolls. It makes my clean-up that much harder. Thank y'all.
Anyway out here, we always prepare for the season. For instance we are in fire season right now so I keep extra beer on hand. Earthquake season is just around the corner so I will be getting a new helmet to wear around the house just in case. Thank god the election season is already over for us now, as we Californians can go back to being irrelavant just like NY and NJ. Which takes me to Florida, my home for several years. What I learned from the natives and first hand experiences is that all Hurricanes are very predictable and most are vastly overrated in terms of damage. Hence folks stayed home for Katrina, Irene and Sandy. Some paid the ultimate price for trying to "wait this one out". It is not the wind or rain, it is the flooding caused by the storm surge on existing water that cause the havoc or failure of man made barriers to hold back the surge. you want to live by the water; be prepared. On a micro level, one must have compassion for those effected and provide the charity that we Americans do so well, but on the macro level we must remind ourselves that we humans cannot change nature no matter how hard we try. I agree that switching the dates makes sense. But giving the NJRB's the home field advantage makes zero sense as well. Use the away goal tie breaker and if still tied then go straight to PK's. I usually do not root against teams; I prefer to root for 'my team'. But not this round. It is time to have a BBQ of pink cows and lets start with the testicles. I understand that when cooked right they can be very delicious. Vamos United!
Mejido? Died in a freak dumpster hobo porn incident. Actually, I miss that guy. He has no taste in sports teams, but has a decent sense of humor. I mean, I guess you'd HAVE to, considering the first bit.
There was poo, too? I stopped at the image if random mooky Jersey guy in a Red Bulls shirt knob-slobbing Garber till the commish pops a nut.
