    Looks like a new AG plate. The most interesting thing about that picture is what looks like two studs in the midfoot (where his finger is). Can't think of any boots (besides TF-plates) with studs there, except Iniestas custom made shoes!
    Other than that, they don't look too different from the current AG soleplate.

    According to the leaked pictures they have just as much carbon as the fish skin version.

    @ noob-bob, I could be mistaken but from what I remember seeing they were regular glass fiber like the VIII's

    I might be wrong, but I've seen other colours with glass fiber soles - I have a feeling carbon is going to be the Super Fly model

    The only vapor IX I have seen with glass fiber is the blue colorway.

    Finally used my ctr3. I love them. Only synthetic boot I can use right out the box without discomfort.

    I wore a friends a few weeks ago and they are really nice boots. I thought they had pretty much nailed it with the IIs though to be honest, the upper was so much better than on the Is. I actually think the elite CTRs were one of the best boots ive ever owned. Just wish the colourways were a bit better on the IIIs. I do like the black/red though. I think the red/pink colour really pops on that boot.

    Why do people complain about colors of shoes when they can just use nikeiD/miadidas...

    I think they have every top end boot except maestris

    Spot on AppleCakes. To this day I regret selling my elite ctrs. They fit me like no other. Thinner, lighter and a great sole plate. Never tried the twos but these 3's are on point. I have the black/solar red ones. I never use cleats right of the box but as soon as I put them on they felt great. I can't wait to start using them on the regular. They can only get even better with age.

    If they last past 10 uses, huge durability issues with this boot....outsole bonding and upper splitting.

    I found the upper on the 2s the same as the upper on the elites - really thin. I found the upper on the original CTRs to be too thick.

    As for the Nike ID you can be allowed not to like a colourway. I'm just not keen on the yellow/black betas someone said to use Nike ID you'd be paying a lot more for that service than to just opt for another regular colourway like the black/red.

    Which ones have durability issues? Were you on about the elites or the 3s?

    Interesting.... is that the same material that all vapors are made from??? Has the 'crinkle' that makes it look like real leather...
