Forgive me if this has been talked thru before. I had seen something recently about Seitz being gone but did not know why. http://espn.go.com/espn/otl/story/_...row-donor-choices-faced-trying-help-save-life It has been easy the last 2 years to get down and disappointed with this team. I am as much to blame as anyone about being in a bad mood all week between games. Last week's game left a bad taste that was going to last all off-season. Until I read this story. Chris Seitz is an amazing, self-less person and he can play on this team as long as he wants as far as I am concerned. His reaction to this event as well as Hyndman's is to be commended. This has been a rough season. This FC Dallas board is a ghost town as the team always seems to come up short on so many levels. But I am still proud to be an FC Dallas fan - not after what happened on the field this season - but because of Chris Seitz. An organization that employs and supports someone like this has hope. And they still have my support.
You have do give 100% unconditional props to someone who agrees to make a potentially career-threatening decision to try to help a complete stranger. Good job, Chris. Whatever happens professionally, I'll always be a fan.
Chris showed he is a great keeper this season, even worthy of a starting spot but this just takes him to a new level. Great story.
teammates react. http://www.3rddegree.net/2012/10/25/teammates-show-much-love-towards-chris-seitz-for-selfless-act/
Sort of disappointing the mainstream media channels haven't picked this up locally, it really is a great human interest story, and doesn't hurt to give FCD free exposure.
My wife said she saw it on one of the local morning news TV shows yesterday morning. She didn't remember which channel it was on though.
