That's an interesting question. If Romney loses, do the Republicans shift their focus away from trying to tear Obama down?

Doubt it. Republicans who try to pass legislation lose primaries. I say the Fox/Grover wing of the party continues to hold sway.

republicans will remain obstructionists as long as they aren't voted out of office.

Still not seeing any articles saying Team Obama is pulling out of CO or VA.

On the drive in to work today I heard a pretty brutal Obama radio ad on RMoney & the 47% here in Colorado.

Hmmm, Nate Silver says Colorado is dead even -- 51% victory chance for Obama -- so I certainly wouldn't expect either Team to leave.

This canard has already been debunked. Jen Psaki, the Obama campaign spox, came out yesterday and strongly denied it.
It would not make any sense to start with. The campaign is pouring resources in Va and there is no sign they are pulling out anyway.

Yeah... I don't see how they can give up on Virginia.. Kaine is ahead in the polls in Virginia and it would be odd for Kaine to win and Obama to get creamed. If Kaine were a Blue Dog, I could see there being a decent number of cross-over voters, but his positions are pretty darn close to Obama's.

Romney's relationship to the truth has been especially tenuous at times. The binder comment especially. The Taggster seems to think that his dad is entitled to his own reality, though.

I wonder if the Secret Service will be paying him a visit. They frown on people who threaten the POTUS with violence.

On the TV show New Girl one of the characters pretended to be a Romney Boy at a bar to pick up women. His name was Tugg Romney.

Romney's ideas are out there, and they're not new. Obama's seriously weak on this, and it's hurting him, but Romney's been pretty explicit with the cut-taxes-and-close-loopholes approach.

And it's been shown repeatedly that it doesn't add up. That it is impossible for it to add up. Unsurprisingly, I think this should be a better problem for him than it is.

My disappointment with Tagg (besides having a stupid name that apparently makes you an angry person) is not his comment about wanting to punch Obama because that was his dad he was calling a liar (we'll ignore the fact his father is indeed a liar for now) - but him saying " but you can't do that, there is a lot of Secret Service down there" instead of something more like "you can't do that because it is wrong and against my religious teaching and no way to solve problems" or something, um, rational ;)

    That's not Tagg's fault.

I assume he is actually Taggart. That's pretty bad, to be sure, but he alone is responsible for the abysmal conversion to "Tagg." Shudder.

Then he should, rightfully, want to punch his dad instead :D

I know it's a Democratic talking point but this CNN Opinion piece disagrees with you.
