How on earth could they pass up the name "Ladies Achin' for some Akin!" Seriously..... it's right there, put a little effort in ....sheesh....
it's funny to watch the reactions of myopic libs when they discover that not everyone (heck, at the very least a plurality, and perhaps even a majority doesn't) agrees with their opinions on various issues. so convinced you all seem to be of the "rightness" of your opinions. but if it makes you all feel better, these people who disagree with you are all either stupid or want to enslave women and take away all their rights. or better yet, they all probably had some issues with understanding that "no means no" sometimes in their sordid past, right Sport Billy?
The guy can't win. His website is carrying a photo showing his "Female supporters". The one on his left is a Democratic "tracker" who was there to observe. By the way, the "I'm a Women" couldn't be any funnier. Article: http://www.stltoday.com/news/local/...cle_00f1abb6-01ad-11e2-be94-001a4bcf6878.html
maybe she's someone who's proudly carrying her rapefetus to term for the Cause, determined its future gender and has awarded it adult status ("woman" instead of "girl"). best explanation i can come up with. still kinda funny.
For the same reason the British anti-porn campaigner, Mary Whitehouse's, original name for 'The National Viewers and Listeners Association', (the NVLA), was allegedly the 'Clean-Up' National Television' campaign,... until someone pointed out the obvious... These people don't think this shit through.
Turns out, Akin was a bit late to the party. New Mexico had him beat by several months. http://thinkprogress.org/health/2012/09/20/881971/new-mexico-gov-forcible-rape/ Of course, she has now come to her senses...sort of... http://www.guardian.co.uk/world/2012/sep/20/new-mexico-governor-forcible-rape?newsfeed=true
"Hey y'all, the GOP is totally cool with the 'legitimate rape' thing, now that we can't get Akin to drop out of the race."
Akin: McCaskill was more "ladylike" in 2006 [McCaskill] spoke and argued and stated her positions on things, so Akin does have a point.
I saw a bumper sticker this morning that said "Uppity Women Unite." I'm guessing that's not a sentiment Akin could get behind.
yes, there are the ones who stay home and do and think as their husbands and fathers tell them.. You know, the ladies
Amazing that anybody is even thinking about voting for Akin, after adding this gem to his pile of stupid: http://www.huffingtonpost.com/2012/10/01/todd-akin-women-pay_n_1928534.html#slide=more248676
Wow.... I'm just amazed that the gap in the polls is not even bigger ..and i'm guessing most of the Senators endorsing him are not up for reelection, are they?
Todd Akin reminds me of the sexist, borderline racist relative you avoid during the holidays. The one that doesn't realize how uncomfortable the room gets when he spouts his opinion on immigration. No matter the subject he will bring up the topic of women, gays or latinos...or all three. November can't come fast enough.
not everyone can be as enlightened in their opinions on these matters as you all. don't be too harsh. it's not their fault.
