How is it that Vermes doesn't have grey hair yet?

I've seen him, it makes my head explode.
I have even seen it when their team is losing - I just don't get it.
Usually you see it in other leagues when the goaly is trying to waste time late on to kill a game and they still don't take as long as some of these guys.
Anyway, good game this -just so long as the ball stays in play!

Why in the hell would Chance Myers send that ball back instead of putting it in the box?

Alex needs to be subbed off for the fire to do anything. Terrible choice, he is neither defending or helping the attack.

    Paladini now!

Friedrich must have been watching American football since he started living here in the US.

I'm thinking with Kamara there must be some sort of Irish connection. Remember his Irish jig goal celebration and the Irish hats? Now the red beard. Hmm.

Poor choice by Sapong ... he had players moving into good positions.

He definitely isn't as good as he was during his first stint in the league - and he did go to Cyprus of all places. But I would put Dunivant, Benitez, Wingert, Sinovic, and Morrow above him for sure.

it's not just goal kicks. all restarts take way too long.

Vermes is a prick...he should focus on coaching and not working the refs every game.

KC getting into dangerous spots far too easily at this point.

One of the more unlikely serious statements ever in a PBP thread?

Actually yeah, I've seen it with throw ins quite often too. Maybe it is something to do with how hot it is in a lot of games.

Wow, that was some stat NBC just showed--SporKS haven't allowed a goal on a corner in 55 games.

Sapong is physically manhandling the Chicago players. It's absurd how bad they look against him. oohhhhhhh, almost for Kamara!

maybe it's something to do with how much they get paid. :)
free kicks can be brutal too, and a special share of that blame goes to the refs.

I saw that and figured it must be a mistake. Then I realized I can't remember the last corner goal we've given up.
