Sounds like Giroud, despite his goal, suffers from a crisis in c0nfidence. It's good to hear that Walcott got on the scoresheet. I've always fancied Theo; I just think that he is at the point in his career where he needs to start to deliver on his considerable potential. It would have been had the Gunners managed to keep a clean sheet. I think this performance really highlights the Gunners' strength in depth. More of the same versus Chelsea, thank you very much! Up the Arsenal!!
Theo with the brace! He should get the man of the match award. This game will do his confidence a world of good. I'd like to see Mr. Walcott gain a bit of swagger. Hopefully, he sees some playing time versus Chelsea...
Arshavin with a goal, 3 assists, a penalty won, and played the ball in that Coquelin pushed on for Giroud.
It's no less than should be expected playing against a side currently in the third tier of English football. Both Arsenal and Chelsea will be high on confidence going into Saturday's game. It could make for a classic...
I'm glad for the team performance, but I feel that Arshavin's time at the Emirates should have ended a long time ago.
Reading away in the next round. Chelski v Manure, Lolerpool v Swansea, Norwich v Spuds also... This cup is opening up a bit
Saw one of Theo's goals and in fairness it was mint...very Thierry-esque coming in from the left and cooly rolling it beyond the keepers reach into the far post. Hopefully SSN will have the rest in a few minutes
