Along the lines of the Austria & Switzerland. Currently there is no subforum that incorporates Slovakia, and it would designate a place for discussion of Corgoň Liga and the Slovak NT without creating a completely new forum.
I can't say for sure that any current active members are Slovakia followers, but there have been a few times in which a newbie has started Slovak threads in the East European forum then disappeared. Many people that use the sub-forums bypass the common forum, and as a result few threads placed there attract attention. While they're may not be current frequent Slovakia posters, there are 2 reasons to believe that there would be a steady flow of threads this year: 1) Slovakia are on top of their WCQ group with a game in hand on the 2nd place team. So they look good to make their first World Cup next year, and people will be interested in the new team. 2) A few times this summer in Yanks Abroad forum, there has been news involving Young American players in Slovakia. The most recent confirmed a 17 year old has impressed in the MFK Kosice youth system. As this player moves up in the club more people will be interested in a source of news about the Slovak league. The Czech forum is very inconsistent in activity, but there are often people who drop by the forum to post or PM me looking for info on players their club is targeting, upcoming UEFA or Champions League opponents, or even translations. Adding Slovakia to the forum title, would give people looking for similar information about Slovakia. The idea of grouping 2 smaller countries is already done with Austria-Switzerland and Serbia-Montenegro; a Czech Republic-Slovakia forum would make sense as well.
I'm still interested in the idea, I'll put a post on the Czech forum just to see if their is interest/objection there.
