Were you aware that there is a Lamar Hunt statue RIGHT THERE AT THE STADIUM IN DALLAS? http://www.mlssoccer.com/news/artic...-bob-marley-and-top-10-soccer-stadium-statues Yowzers, how cool. Now let's move on to the one of the immortal Valeri Lobanovsky. Pretty nice, and....what? Columbus? Really? They have a stadium? Huh, who knew. This sort of crap wouldn't be annoying, really, except that they do it every single time.
Its okay, Bill. They don't like us, we don't care... and Dallas still has to live with the fact that we have one of these: Three of these: and one of these:
We don't put a scarf on our statue. So it is a extremely different statue. Oh and it sounds like their statue breathes which sounds creepy. Personally I love the Tom Finney statue. That is cool. I don't understand what Michael Jackson has to do with soccer but . . .
no, no, the real question is, why has he not written a new blog entry in absolutely ages (years almost I think).
Hadn't noticed. Don't know how that happened. Well, OK, it's probably because I have yet to figure out how the new format works and don't dare mess with anything. I can't even figure out how to make "My Bigsoccer" function like it used to. To get to the Crew forum I have to go through the whole "Forums" tree. I'm hopeless. I know.
That's why I keep a bookmark on my toolbar to take me directly to the Crew Forum. That must be too complicated for an old geezer like you.
Didn't FC Dallas get their statue before Crew Stadium? Have to wonder if that played into the exclusion of Crew Stadium's Hunt Statue.
And they utilize it more for fan/club interaction (scarfing ceremony). There's plenty of stuff to be upset about out there, not sure what the deal is with Bill's beef on this one.
MLS has not been ignoring Columbus since 1996. They remember us every time there is an expansion draft.
