I think it's more like not starting enough attacking players from 00:00 is more like it. Now that the never losing to Jamaica monkey is off our back we can get back to the business of being superior to every team in this pitiful group we are in. We lost to a clearly inferior team riding a wave of home support. I bet Spain, Portugal and Italy felt the same way when they lost to us. It's going to happen fellas, no way around it. Now that it has happened to us we can right the Shite line up issues and get back to the business of qualification. I have to trust JK to do his job at the moment because my 2014 plans depend on it at this point.

The blame has to be on the players. Such little effort from them, and poor skill.

Yeah, he only created our best opportunity after the first 30 secs.

There's a strong argument to be made if Brek didn't play in Mex, we wouldn't have won there, and if he didn't come in tonight, we wouldn't have had an opportunity as good as Clints header towards the end.

But sure, let's go with your elementary analysis instead.

Horrible from everyone but Jurgen Klinsmann takes the blame here. Everything he did here was a joke. The squad selections were questionable & have been questionable but weve let them slide because the results have gone right. Whats he doing playing Dempsey 90 minutes? He's not 100% & despite the goal you could tell. Lets hope that doesnt burn him out for the 11th. Altidore was absent because there was no service. So why sub Altidore instead of Dempsey? Why did we not have service? BECAUSE WE NEVER DO WITH Edu, Beckerman, & Jones. Why would he think 3 defensive minded midfielders would control the game & take the game to Jamaica in Jamaica? Again, we should have seen Zusi start this. There was no better time. He would have exponentially made possession & chance creation better. Instead of seeing good technical passers involved, Jurgen throws another defensive minded midfielder on the field in Williams. Whats the point of a like for like holding mid sub in this instance? It was a waste of a sub. You can only deploy ridiculous tactics for so long before something like this happens.. Im disgusted.

We played an away game without our best attacking player, without our second best player, an out of shape Clint, and Carlos on the bench. Unfortunately our team lacks the depth of top flight teams and these factors took their toll.
Remember, it's a marathon, not a sprint. We'll be OK.

The blame has to be on the players as well. Such little effort from them, and poor skill.

Its just kind of funny how I predicted the exact score and was exactly correct on why we were going to struggle.

Of course I am not happy, but I think I should get more respect from those who called me out last week for having an outlandish opinion, and then I ended up being correct.

On the bright side you are still going through to the Hex. Drawing into B or C may not have been so comforting.

Poor skill, thats what it is. Edu and Jones don't have attacking skills, they are defensive midfielders. While we didn't get a great effort from anyone, you can't blame guys that were played out of position. You have to blame the coach for playing guys out of position.

From the beginning I've had misgivings about Klinsmann. Reminds me of Sven-Göran Eriksson with Mexico. Or Cruyff with Chivas Guadalajara now. Europeans who come to CONCACAF for a quick buck, to palaver with the natives and to sell them beads and smoke. It may be the anger talking, I hope I'm wrong.

He had that 1 ok cross. He also lost the ball 4 or 5 times on simple passes or dribbles. He is not ready for this level, and I don't know if he ever will be.

Yes, you are bad for thinking that, but Klinsmann does need to be replaced.

What we just witnessed tonight. is. completely. unacceptable.

Klinsmann is a fraud. No wonder why people at Bayern said this guy was an idiot. I guess the USSF are the suckers here.

Shea hit Clint in the forehead with a cross.

This is the problem, many fans just don't know what the hell they're watching, then they mindlessly just jump on the bandwagon and start bashing whoever everyone else is without looking at the entire situation.

I've seen Jozy sucks. Well, he had no service, at all, as in, AT ALL. Wouldn't matter if Zlatan or Rooney were up top.

I've seen Jones absolutely sucks and MLS mids are better. Uh huh. He's a UCL level DMid and proves it annually. But play him on the wing, as JK has done with Williams, out of position, and you won't get good results. It's more about JK playing DMids as wingers than it is our DMids suck as DMids.

I've seen Shea sucks. I swear, some are blind. He set up our best opportunity in Mex, and one of our 2-3 best opportunities tonight when he hit Clint with the cross. So the guy who's created two of our best 4-5 opportunities the last two games, in only about 30 mins combined, suck. Uh huh. Who out there was creating all these other opportunities in the box which we all missed?

Jamaican players play in Europe and the MLS also so, they are not a complete joke they once were... Did we just expect to go beat them in their stadium in 2012 easily?? Yes we have bigger name players but, that counts for nothing on the pitch if you don't play the right way.

Well given he's created more opportunities than anyone aside from Clint and LD since JK took over, at this level, you're team includes about three players, Clint, LD and Timmy.

Klinsmann is a fraud? Really, you have to be the biggest moron on this thread, yes we lost tonight, but you clearly know next to nothing. Klinsmann was great for the German National Team, Having a great coach or fair coach fail at Bayern often rests with Bayern more than the coach.

Has he created anything in any game that is meaningful? Aren't all his "creations" in friendlies?

Kind of like how some fans don't know how to read a post properly: my post referenced tonight's performance only, not last month's or last year's or next week's.

Again, Shea lost the ball 3 or 4 times with his bad touch trying to receive simple passes. And at least once the ball was taking from him on the dribble, and the defender was 5 feet behind him. I believe you are the one not watching the game.

4 or 5 (maybe more) turnovers does not negate 1 ok cross.

These boys need to man up and understand what needs to be done on Tuesday.

JK needs to let go of certain players and take a chance on the other guys he's called in.

Clint needs to be off his feet for the next few days because I'm pretty sure he doesn't have another 90 mins in him.

Johnson needs to be pushed forward into attack. It doesn't matter if Parkhurst or Williams or Spector or Boca is at LB but Johnson is needed up top.
