Allright its been just about a third of the season. Who do you see coming out of the east and west playoffs into the final?

In the east, im gonna say that its gonna b close between the metros and the fire, but the fire will probably make it to the final again, because of their experience and talent.

If Carlito comes back and performs like he did in the first 7 games, i dont think nobody will be able to stop LA.

This will create an intersting final... between the 2 long time rivals.

    Dallas in the West.

It doesn't matter in the East.

Chicago over LA. Chicago really is the best team in the league, and LA will go from worst to runner-up behind great attacking play from herzog and ruiz and riding a big homefield advantage in the HDC. I'm a KC fan because of geography, but as far as quality, exciting soccer goes I really hope this is the final matchup. Imagine the creativity of Herzog and Andy Williams in the midfields, the scoring power of Ralph and Ruiz... the 4 best players in the league all on the same pitch. It could be a 4-3 thriller. I've got my fingers crossed.

  4. Chicago versus LA. San Jose could mess this up, but nobody in the east can stay with the Fire.

If the Fire can weather the summer schedule without 5 of their big guys, then unmerciously slaughter all who dare challenge them after their return the Fire will again find themselves in the final. But this time they're gonna win it...none of that Buffalo Bills-esque crap.

Chicago and LA. It is too easy to pick the two league leaders but I have my reasons. The attacking power of Herzog, Kirovski and Ruiz will be tough to match in the playoffs and the play of Moreno has been impressive.

Chicago has the defense and will to get alot of their young guns playing time while all the internationals are gone. Plus they should be strengthened by the return of injured players and I have faith in Dave Sarachan.

Preki returns July 3rd. I believe he will outscore Josh Wolff by the end of the season. Our "non-quality" team will be in the final against whatever pushover the east puts up. I guess I'll go with Chicago. ;)

    KC vs. Colorado

The first MLS Cup to be won on a coin-toss after a scoreless 120 minutes and neither team being able to convert a PK.

My actual pick seems pretty popular: LA vs Chicago.

Chicago loses the Cup to a team from California two years in a row...
