At this point, yes. It is a money grab. However, if these teams start to do well in CL or EL, then the game changes. I mean life is pretty darn good in Russia/former USSR if you have money and a benefactor.
He knew what he was getting. Add to that that Xavi and Iniesta are not showing any signs of slowing down as yet. He should get used to bench riding and eventually become their leader in his early 20s. lol IMO I would take him back in a heart beat!!
With most ex players I have the "ex girlfriend who I hope ends up fat and pregnant and a train wreck on food stamps" mentality, but with him I have the "I hope she meets somebody nice and it works out for her, and if she ever came calling again I'd think about it" one. I'm a sick person.
Well, mild pouting. I meant it all as a bit sarcastic anyway - hence the "baby come back" video. I can't find the interview on Marca anyway. I guess they're too busy covering Cristiano's pouting to worry about Barca just now. For all I know, the mirror just made it all up.
It's such bullshit. Balotelli almost breaks Alex Song's leg in half, and no action can be taken because the assistant allegedly ref saw it and chose not to raise his flag. How is this any diferent? Ref sees is, makes a decision. How can they overturn it if they can't punish Balotelli (for example)?
I dislike international football. I can see England only beating Moldova, I'd imagine the Ukrainians want revenge for the last time we played them (and rightfully so maybe lol..)
i'm surprised they went to Russia. I don't see how getting bananas thrown at them is appealing, but it takes all kinds as they say..
http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/19486989 So, if Alan Knill had a son, named Juan, who got a transfer to The Arsenal..... .....what song do you think we would sing?
Ridiculous...why couldnt he find a new club? At his age why couldnt he take a wage cut and enjoy the last remaining years of football that he has left... http://twitter.com/realflorentm/status/243307407252533248/photo/1
