must be a record setting displaced passes for the first 10 mins of a game. Stoke pressing well. We have to survive this first bit of pressure.

Giroud doing well so far. Strange to see us hoofing a ball up to the CF.

A game in which both teams give the ball away constantly favors them, I fear. Couple brighter signs recently, though.

Are the Stoke fans booing passing or something ? Thought they had it in for Diaby at first, heh.

nice patient building up. stoke getting 8 men behind the ball at least then trying to counter. poldi's runs will be important today...those big lumbering defenders don't like quick footed players coming at them

    not bad at all.

Gervinho is making some nice runs. He looks completely different from last seasons endings. His chin is over his shoulder instead of looking straight ahead.

That may have to do with the front three being in better form than TW.

Walcott has no use against stoke.

cazorla trying from range and driving at stoke, so is lukas! giroud winning the aerial battles which is nice

don't rate diaby's contribution, lackluster passing and slow feet..... hopefully we can score this half, put us in command for the next

Giroud is a beast. The dude is really mixing it with the Stoke backline.

I'm not seeing this. I think he's looked like a blackhole whenever he's gotten the ball. Terrible final ball decisions.

We're not getting enough width, so all the attackers are getting bunched up in the middle.

Impressed with Podolski & Giroud's workrates, though. Seen them both back in their own end winning back the ball. Not sure if that says more about them, or the need for a ball-winner (NOT Diaby).
