Depends on what your definition of passion is.

Passion, as in the "most knowledgable", the "most emotional", the "most delusional", or any combination of the three

Is there a way to check the reps i've given? I'd be interested to see who I rep the most.

Reps are useless. Some people rep everything other posters says good or bad.

How about this who ever poster played the game for over 60 years. Who ever played in the most US open cups, who ever coached in the US open cups, what poster has won the most US Open cups as a player, what poster has won the Most US open cups as a coach.

What poster has thrown their television out of their second floor window after see the US national team or players do something that they thought was a dumb play.

The poster that actually left their daughters wedding in Long Island early to see a world cup game late at night.

How about voting for some crazy person like that?

A true fan would raise a daughter who would never get married during the World Cup. :p;)

I should have raised her to have picked a better man then the one see married in 2002. There in the middle of a divorce now. Three of my 4 children are divorcing their spouses now. The 4th have never been married. I tell him to stay single. I have been married 44 years I never even thought of separating. She has many times I am sure, but not me.

The cat who's been on BS the longest and/or has the most comments would probably be a good answer. You gotta be passionate to keep coming back here.

am 68, started playing in my 6th year beginning with camps. began playing organized matches at 8 or so, had an infarct during a game at 42, kept playing a few more years, coached, reffed and advised till my earlier 60s. Am passionate about the game but have never forgotten that it is merely a game....to enjoy!
I know my detractors will accuse me of bragging but I have loved this game a lifetime. In the early years suffering endless criticisms for playing a sissy game.

Your my kind of guy man. People have pulled that on me so what did you do? I had a temper then I heard that on a bad day I would drop them. Then say something about their mother. But did not do it when I became a coach had to have zoom self control. I missed those days I am about your age a little bit older.

Saw a good doowop show yesterday if your into that. It was the jive five, harp tones, Gary US Bonds, Kenny Vance and the planatones and a few others it was great. At the cyclone baseball field here in Brooklyn. I dig that music. It was me and 3000 other old people :)

    This guy gets my vote:

    http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mike_Renshaw

played and coached professionally for years. Grew up playing in the Blackpool youth system, capped twice for the USA. . . . legend

Mike Renshaw was recently named, in an article in the Fort Worth Star Telegram, as one of the ten most influential people in North Texas soccer history. He was also mentioned in a Dallas Morning News article as being one of the eleven best all time Dallas Tornado players

Given his commitment to youth soccer in North Texas and his two caps, I would agree to disagree.
