Not a US citizen and doesn't have a Green Card yet. Unlikely to ever suit up for us.

thanks for the update. i knew he was born in Uruguay but i thought he moved here very young which made me assume he was probably a citizen.

They hid it very well, but you have to assume he and his family were here illegally. Only came up when the Revs wanted to sign him to a homegrown contract.

Omar Gonzalez is the best and most needed player not yet cap-tied. It's extremely unfortunate that he was injured, but there still is time for him to be integrated into the team by the World Cup (if we qualify) ....PROVIDED he has no residual effects from his injury - except hunger. :)

Omar was capped by Bradley against Brazil.
If the discussion is expanded to "best player never called to camp by JK" then he would certainly be near the top of the list or at the top for most people.

Chris Pontius and Steve Beitashour. Hines if he wants to play for us. Alonso if he can play for us.

It's nice to have multiple young fullbacks in MLS, but we still don't have any real up and comers on the left side, do we? Would Ashe & Sinovic be the 2 best options?

The two young left backs in MLS I've been impressed by are Justin Morrow and Connor Lade. More Morrow than Lade. I'd think Morrow's a probable January Camp call-up.

As always, Eleven Bravo's lists are excellent. Your additions are helpful, too.

I've read it through twice and didn't see Billy Schuler, who surely belongs on EB's Honorable Mention list.

Past 2 games hes gotten a goal and like 4 assists! He definitely deserves to be mentioned as one of the top prospects.. Reminds me Feilhaber a lot. Both very creative but Marfan doesn't have an attitude problem. I think Jurgen would appreciate that.

Also his bro Gabe is good at LB he should get a look too.

Are both better than Ashe, Sinovic & G Farfan?

Will he ever get the chance to play for the National team? Why wasn't he on the yanks abroad list?

I'd be interested in seeing how this has changed over the past 3 months. I'm still on board with Pontius and Gatt, but I feel like a lot has probably changed after that.

What are the chances of Delaney suiting up for USMNT someday?

probably because we decided that we don't need to give klinsmann any ideas. The defensive mid position seems to be one that we are not necessarily short of players for
