Very exciting to watch that conference. As has been said, the fact that the DC CFO and Ackridge guys were there is massive. I especially like Levien staying in the general area to start hammering at politicians here. He obviously knows the lay of the political land very well (I mean, listen to his answers... screamed politician). Also very happy to see that they are very committed to creating a global brand. To me, that says they want to compete with LA/NY for invitations to play overseas. Not necessarily big name players (although that could happen), but more recognition in the world arena first. I am going to bet getting into the Champions League is going to become a big priority as a result.

Am I missing a joke? You've met her multiple times before. Uh, no. She's a supporter who used to post on here quite a bit (although not for a while, I think). And people wonder why this place has become such a freakin' sausage-fest over the last several years!
