"Soccer" is very exhausting in it's own right. But American football is very punishing on the body. The recovery time isn't as long as you'd expect with the varying mini-camps held in the offseason and constant work in the weight room. I know for a fact that the majority of the players spend the offseason working out & keeping their physical condition at it's peak. If you show up out of shape, you won't hack it. Soccer, they hardly get an offseason, especially the best players who play for their respective national teams. I'm glad they don't have to report to the clubs until the end of the month. That recharge time will matter come crunch time in the season.
Tomorrow, July 11th, at 12:30 Central Europe time Juve will unveil the new home kit. You can watch it streamed live on juventus.com, that is if any of us are up at that time here in the US.
My bad, typing on BS on my iPhone is a bit of a pain in the ass. Stupid work randomly blocks access to BS for days or weeks at a time.
Let's be grateful Macron isn't our kit maker, look at this horrible Napoli jersey, it takes FUGLY to a new level. Now take a look at these Leeds shorts, LOL.
i hate all these jersey rumors, we've seen different versions and then someone made a rumor that today they'll be revealing it....jeez why cant they just reveal the damn thing already? lol
Look just a few posts up... tomorrow is the official unveiling. I listed the time and place you can even watch it.
well it looks like not only italian football talent has gone dry but also italian designers....hope the win still stays tasting good...
i read some blurb that it might be a training shirt or something or a shirt for the fans like all that stuff that puma makes for italy. Ive seen so many different things. I personally think this is a fake being that the lette logo looks like the one we got on are warm up gear.
Hopefully, they are fake. Unfortunately, there are not many quality kits out there. The manufacturers are ignorant to the beauty of simplicity.
doesnt help that our second sponsor will not take being on the dam away kit either. Napoli has simple colors it goes by the flag coat or arms etc all they gotta do is fallow that not do all this stripe b.s trying to make it look like something some hipster would wear.
I saw the Leeds shorts on another forum... They look like Centurion shorts. TBH, I like it when they make things funky. How many people would have gave 2 fucks about Leeds kit?
I was thinking Scottish kilts on those Leeds shorts. As long as Nike does not do something stupid like that with Juve. On the other hand, go for it with Inter.
Overall, i t's not bad. I like the collar and the thicker stripes. I just think the Jeep logo looks thrown on.would have been nicer had the lettering just be white with a black border around each letter. I'll probably wind up buying it, now which name to put on it is the question...
It is missing the three stars ..... So the two guys who are going to be out for months due to serious injuries acquired playing for their national teams are the models?
No point arguing over it. If I do get the kit I will make sure it's got the 3 stars on it. Yeah, and they were walking around just fine.
Another bumper sticker, eh? That blows. It doesn't even match the black on the stripes. Ugh. I was hoping that it would be like the old days where the Scudetto and the Juve logo switch places. These also appear to be the shirts that we will wear during Champions League because to play in Europe, the names and numbers on your back have to be over a bolded area so they aren't obstructed by any lines. One other thing that I noticed is that Vidal changed to number 23. I wonder who will wear 22. Asamoah maybe?
