The Blades play in the Chengdu Sports Centre. Be sure to call them first during business hours at 86-28-85731777 (they usually will have someone there that speaks English if you need it) to make sure the schedule is accurate. You can view their schedule at http://www.soccerway.com/teams/china-pr/chengdu-blades. Let us know how it goes if you get to go to a game. Keep in mind that Lifan and Chonqing FC aren't that far away. Also, Sichuan FC plays in China League Two.

I shoulda been there a few months ago, instead my family went there whilst I stayed in London to finish off my essays and dissertations....poo....especially when my family had 'guan xi' there and got some nice hospitality treatment.

The controvery was not over whether he would be considered an "Asian" player or not, as an HK citizen, he's considered a "domestic" player. In any case, it's a done deal, he's treated as a domestic player and made his debut over the weekend.

There are three different kinds of jerseys available. One are the fake jerseys which are easily purchased for anywhere between RMB30-80, the other are the nike "fan" versions, which tend to sell for RMB299, and the final ones are the nike "player" versions which are RMB799.

For anybody looking for a CSL jersey or other gear in China, taobao is the place to go and liangjian.taobao.com is an excellent source for official nike merchandise (they offer an even better selection than Nike's own website).

Ironically you would not look out of place wearing a Man U shirt in London (other than N17 of course).

I don't think all of these are confirmed? Only Barrios, Drogba, Moreno, Simão Jr, Isaac Chansa have actually signed with the clubs. Rest seems to be rumors?

Well, I can't get it NOW because I haven't any money on me. Later. But I'd like a Home jersey of Guangzhou Evergrande... ACL version of Gao Lin.

Had a look and there is no national team kit there unfortunately.

Still if Freddy K does turn up for Guoan I might be tempted to get a green monstrosity with "Kanoute" on the back just for lols.

I saw Liaoning Whowin tie 0 to 0 with Shanghai Shenxin earlier this morning (for me). Gotta say, Shanghai Shenxin looked more dominate overall which was surprised considering the stance in the league.

not sure what you guys think of this
apparently manchester united contacted lippi and asked if guangzhou evergrande can play a friendly with the team.
lippi rejected the offer, citing CSL is still going on and there is not time for a friendly that is particularly worthless.
