We can definitely slow down the Germans with this system, but going to need either a lot more luck or more skill when it comes to finishing chances....there will be chances against Germany.
Defense will need to be more alert though. England only had Rooney. Germany has a team full of great players.

As for the game, biggest complain I have is Cesare's changes, what the ******** is up with leaving Montolivo in the game? I told my friend before the extra time started out that he's going to miss in the penalty shots and he was pretty much USELESS during the 2nd half and rest of the game, he lacks any sort of heart and will. Changes should have been Nocerino in for Montolivo & Di Natale for Cassano. Were were almost robbed, I almost got a heartattack during the penalty shots. Lets see how our fitness will be after such a long match vs the Germans, hope the their heart and desire will make up for it. FORZZAAAAA

I think Rooney is good. Scared me when he got the ball, but just the players around him (if there were any... England were defending pretty deep) were useless.

Pirlo was absolutely AMAZING for the entire game and there wass never a sign that he was gassed. Monto almost threw the game away for us, i hope he never sees the pitch again. Anyways were off to the semis and we deserved to be there.
Italy should have won during 90" or 120"... England were crap for 110"/120" This game should have never gone to P.Ks...... Lack of pace, finishing and fatigue could could hinder Italy vs. Germany. .
Rooney had a poor match, but come on dude has ripped apart many a team in the cl, including Milan. He looked crappy today because we bossed the midfield, if we had better finishers we wouldn't have had to worry about pens
+1 Definitely Pirlo for MoTM and Montolivo for worst player. Prandelli should get his mind right, his changes were bad today, he wont be so lucky with those changes against the Mannschaft, who unlike the English will actually Punish us for not scoring a goal by scoring a few of theirs.
