Is the electricity leather tough to keep clean? Does it grass stain easily?

Am I the only one that finds the new Predators remarkably close in design to the F50i?


Today I got my Copa's in the mailbox, they blew all of my expectations out of the water. The leather is incredibly soft and they are ridiculously comfortable...I was walking around with a Copa in one foot and a running shoe in the other and the difference was none(I've had the shoes for over 4 years so they are pretty comfy).
The only downsides:
-Shoelaces are incredibly long; although, this can be fixed by looping the lace around the shoe and then tying them.
-They run too large. I usually wear size 8 for normal shoes and synthetic-upper boots and a 7.5 for leather boots(for a tight fit). These Copas are 7.5 but they still feel a bit big up front, I'm not sure if I will be going to get size 7 or even 6.5 next time I buy them.

 

Copas nearly always tend to fit at least a size smaller to accomodate for stretch. You should have got a 6.5!

 

saw a new predator lz colour in this video, guys pause at 1.27 the colour is like some type of yellow.

 

Nice spot, those look pretty nice. My next Adidas boot will possibly be these although I want to wait and see what happens to the adiPure.

 

How would you guys reccomend caring for the new Adidas Predator LZ's seeing as it's a synthetic leather.

Would it be a good idea to waterproof the boots, with some sort of spray?

 

yeah bro it is quite nice but i think that the yellow/blue/white LZ that will be release in december is more nicer.

 

No point, they absorb pretty much no water. They won't need any treatment, just clean them after every use.

 

The blue has been changed to black for the release model

Yeah I found that out after using them, I was immediately in awe for how comfortable they were, my god.. it was like stepping into a warm bed of cotton.

As for performance, I found the zones that we're most noticeable were the drive and passing zones.

I didn't get a whole lot of attempts at taking the ball out of the air, but from just hacking the ball to myself it felt nice, it sort of felt like if i held my foot in place and let the ball drop I could control it with only one touch. I didn't use a whole lot of the sweet spot either, keen to test that out tomorrow night. We had mainly a fitness session, with some attacking pieces, shooting and heading mainly so it was not the best of nights for testing, but I love them so far!

 

Ahhh... Too many of you are making me want LZ's now when I initially hated them. And I promised myself these were the one Preds I'll be skipping... I'll probably get the red ones if I do.

How does the sizing work for LZ's? I had to go .5 size down when I bought adiPowers from all my other Preds. Do they run the same as LZ's then?

 

I worse a 10 in every predator and the LZ's are no diffirent for me

 

Same size as usual for me, an 8. I wore an 8 in AdiPowers and so on. They fit great.

 

I got my lzs in today in the same size that i wear adizeros and adipowers and they fit nicely! They fit my narrow size 8.5 foot snug when I pull the laces tight and the boots in general has fantastic touch from what I could tell from the two hours I kicked about in them. So far I'm thoroughly impressed and very happy with my purchase.

 

Bought a pair of mercurial's today on impulse, rebel sport store in melbourne had boots 50% off, so I got me a pair, even though I just bought a pair of LZ's

 

Are the Tunit studs a different size from ordinary studs? Is there thread size bigger?
Basically could i use them in boots other than tunits?

 

as far as I remember, they come within a housing which could cause you problems if you attached them to another boot - but if you wanted to unscrew the actual stud that could work - but I think the bolt length is slightly longer to accommodate the housing

I am in looooove with the LZ's, but the Adipure III's are my favorite at the moment. Too bad the adipures suck now...

 

Xavi's boots.. Much darker red than Rakitic's. Anyone know any info on this?
