    Stick to Futsol. :D

Korea only care about WC and both of our 2006 teams will be made up by many players who played in Athens qualifier. You Iranians know what happened last few months, correct?

Any way good luck. I think your boys will make it to Germany as long as they're not in a same group with Korea.

Asian Cup is the only competition that tells you the legitimate champions of Asia. True, Korea (and Japan, I think) is not taking it as seriously as West Asian teams but that just pisses me off. Take it seriously, send the best squad possible, and claim the crown. Otherwise, it will only be self-claimed asia's best.

I think they can still qualify even if they are in the same group with Korea.

Even if the team finishes 5th in Asia, I'd say they would STILL have a fairly high chance of qualifying to the World Cup 2006 through the playoff.

And your senior NT have 9 players from your Olympic team.

That makes shuvy's comment partly relevant. :)

it's just annoying that only because japan is in afc they have to be compared with the like of iran and korea for nothing.

It was just a funny little sarcasm. Just a friendly reminder to Ruffrider how the Olympic qualifier turned out when Iran and Korea was in the same group. We all know the result, don't we? :D

True, true. Japan get's constantly compared for who's the second or third best team in Asia after Korea. Always with you and Iran.

The only "Asian Cup" that matters is World Cup Qualifiers. Everything else is small potatoes. Ooh, so we beat the likes of China or UAE in front of 500 people in Lebanon. Whoopee.

Guess who holds the Asian record for World Cup appearances.

this is why i hate japan to get involved in asia. not only they have crappy know-nothing national teams but also whole bunch of classless mannerless fans. commonsense and conscience hasn't been developed since the era of the babylonia empire.

Right now ROK and Japan is top 2, but in 10-20 years, i really really hate to admit this as a korean but i think Japan has a good chance of being the top asian football nation, i mean i really hate to admit it but they got a decent shot there...Chinese could also get much better in a decade or two but i don't think they will ever be good as the likes of S. Korea, Japan and Iran.

Iran is 3rd but i don't think they will ever be the best in asia as long as S. Korea and Japan exists...

Yeah, but are team is better than yours with our Euro based players, we are clearly far superior with them. We will prove this in China in July.
