If Ballacks English was better, everyone not just people who can understand what he is getting at would realize he has a better understanding/insight into the game then Lalas ever had.

OMG...did you hear Lalas try to explain why the goal was onside yesterday in the Ireland vs Croatia match? He was making it so much more technical than he needed it to be until Keller just said, "it was onside because the Croatian player touched the ball last"...nice and simple.
Well, the problem is the majority of ESPN viewers are not a football expert like you guys. Lalas is clueless but he's interesting and that what draw viewers.
I am pretty sure no one in America is drawn to the Euro Cup because Lalas talks before, at half time and after the matches.
In essense a lot of praise, as a player and a person but he said he had a huge price tag that may have had some weight and basically, he did not seem to be like by Mourinho; and didn't know why. He said, fans liked him and players liked him and he tried but just could not make it and it may have had more to do with his non relationship with the manager than his inability to adapt to the prem right away.
I actually like the UKR-SWE match. It is getting rough now but good 2nd half. The goals, helped, of course.
congrats Yas- who is probably seeing three of everything atm the game finally took off in the second half- both wide players for Ukraine looked good going forward. The Swedes looked pretty bereft of ideas, although I suspect England will make them look better in a match which end up in a draw.
Oh, I think Group A would give it a run for its money. The Czechs looked awful, while the Poland/Greece game was only exciting because of ineptitude.
