Actually, the question is asked with the reference to who the Dutch will play. That is a very colorful (in terms of kit combinations) group, you must admit. Orange will not work for most matches, neither would yellow or red. Perhaps, light blue?

The EURO 2012 referee jerseys are in silver, yellow, light blue and black... all have purple "accents" on them. They were used in the African Cup of Nations in January and are available through this thread: https://www.bigsoccer.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1829171

Still, I'm not sure I understand why this is a question. Every major tournament has had four referee jersey colors since 2004.

I don't know about long warm summers but long beautiful legs are always in style.

I vote for Germany's kit. Look at very elegant and formal. Ukraine's kit is also good.

Sure. It's a return to the classic DFB colours. It's a nice enough nod to the past, but I sure wouldn't want to see it making a permanent return.

Aesthetically, I find building on our black-red-golden national colours far more to my liking.

I'm disappointed in the decision that France will wear all blue kits. The tradition is blue shirts, white shorts and red socks. France has won its trophies in those colors. It would be like Brazil wearing all yellow. :(

Portugal should always, and I mean ALWAYS have green shorts when wearing the red top, it looks so much better.

They won the Euro in 2000 with blue shirts and shorts, red socks vs Italy's all white, no? If Sweden plays in yellow shirts, blue shorts in the last group match, then France will have to wear white shorts.
Yup. and I like the darker, rustier tone of red they had back in 2000 and 2006.

There should always be a stronger element of red. It blows me away that Nike didn't at least give them red socks. I don't like les Bleus resembling Italia!!!

Tradition? OK..France have blue shirts. Besides that I'm not seeing any tradition or history.

Just to chime in on the German away jersey. The green jersey is indeed very traditional. It is in fact the color of our football association, the DFB. When the association was founded they decided to go with the colors for the two biggest regional divisions which back then were Prussia (black and white) and Saxony (green and white). Nevertheless, in spite of being very traditional, most people in Germany don't like this green jersey. I count myself among them. For me it's mostly to do with the wide t-shirt collar, it looks like they're wearing barbershop neck paper.
The German home jersey is so-so, in my mind the best German jerseys we ever had were both ones for the WC 2010.
I'm a big fan of both French jerseys and both Dutch jerseys. I also very much like the Greek jerseys and the Irish ones, especially the away jersey, which if I looked correctly, haven't been posted in this thread yet. So here goes:

If they would get rid of the "3" sponsor I'd buy one.

is "3" really going to be there on the EUROs?

Sorry, but it's extremely inappropriate there....
I'm not so fond of Ukrainian kit for 2012, but that one with "3" took the price.

No. Ireland kits don't carry any sponsors in the national squad. Only on shirts sold to the public. I have a couple with Eircom on them that look decent but the 3 is sooo bad.
