You have cheap beer and food.... The whole trip will be cheaper or at least not more expensive than Germany 2006.......What's the problem, huh?.... I hear only a lot of whitewashes.... If you really want to support your team - you will come.... Otherwise, only a lot of pussy arguments
Part of the problem is that people had already decided not to come several months ago. By the time prices started coming down people had already given up any plans to come to Ukraine. If the prices had been realistic to start with there would be shit loads more people heading over there.

with respect, it's not you that's been trying and failing to find anywhere decent to stay. Any a lot of people want somewhere decent to stay. They don't want to be in some 12 bed dorm or camp site eight miles from the city centre. And availability for Donetsk is still hopeless. Lots of apartments available on demand "from" a certain price, but actually check up and they are either not available, or the quoted price is nothing like what they'd actually ask. Ukrainian customer service also lives up to it's old soviet-style "why should I give a shit?" levels. I had one apartment cancelled without warning. Another actually moved the location of the hostel, again without warning. The people who moved are very slow to reply to emails about the new place, and still, after several days, haven't been able to confirm if I'll still have the same room type as before. Another agency haven't replied for a week (I've sent emails every day) when I've asked them to confirm details about arrangement to get to/from the apartment I've booked. If there actually were decent alternatives, both bookings would have been cancelled by now.

That looks fake. I have tickets for a couple of matches which I bought from Uefa and they don't look like that!
