I think he's probably one of sina's own commentators. The quality is like Sky Sports FanZone without the humor. If you click on the city name tabs on the left side during live feeds, then you get the regional TV broadcast commentators.

Was able to catch Guangzhou R&F steamroll Changchun Yatai with a Coelho hat-trick and Davi brace. They make a good team.

Don't know why Evergrande wasn't prepared for this, Jinan's one of the few places where away fans are given access to their team's practice sessions.
That first goal? That's all Geng's fault, no way that should have gone in from that angle, he's been struggling all year, which makes it all the more shocking he's named to the national team...

I watched the match on BTV, so I didn't hear the commentators, but if it was a Shandong commentator, I can understand excitement about a 84th minute equalizer. I don't know, I have no problem with "homer" commentary, just as long as it isn't constant and overly partial.

teda coach dismissed cause he was waving money at the referee (saying the referees gave TEDA unfair re card), then got banned for seven matches.

It must be a right of passage for Tianjin managers, Haan got suspended for the same thing when at Tianjin.

Bai Yansong, one of the main commentators for CCTV5 (probably the guy whose voice is notoriously known for boring and sound almost death-like), did a mini commentary on CSL.

Best team: Guangzhou R&F. This team just came to CSL this season and already ranked second place.

Best coach: Bai Yansong originally wanted to give the award to Lee Jang-soo, but Lee is gone already. Bai mentioned Sergio Farias, the coach of Guangzhou R&F, should be the best coach for now (the coach is new to CSL and he already took the team to 2nd place now).

Best new player: Piao Cheng of Beijing Guoan. Bai said this kid, eventhough he can't even speak fluent Chinese (Piao Cheng is ethnic Korean from Northeastern China), he still perform admirably and he has the potential to become a key player for Team China.

Most entertaining team: Shanghai Shenhua. You don't know where Zhu Jun is and what he do. THe club isn't on the top of the table, and the team consistently becomes the protagonist of CSL's headline.

The club that has the most revolving result: Hangzhou Greentown. The team played like crap at the beginning of the season. Bai don't know what the Japanese coach did to the team, now they won four consecutive matches and near the top of the table.

Most disappointing team: Tianjin Teda, last season's FA Cup champion, this season played horribly. It seems the departure of Yu Dabao and Arie Haan took Teda's soul away.

The team with the most unsettled future: Dalian Shide, the club that used to be the heavyweight of CSL, might get relegated soon.

Argh, this gets me so frustrated. First, speaking Chinese has nothing to do with playing soccer well. But beyond that, to say he's not fluent in Chinese is an insult. His Mandarin is at least as good as guys like Yang Zhi (at least when Yang first came to Beijing) and Han Peng (who seems to refuse to speak anything other than Shandong hua). I've spoken with Piao at least once a month for the past year or so and while his Chinese is accented and sometimes his grammar tends to be more based on Korean and he's a little shy (same problem as Yang Zhi had/has), he's easily understood in Chinese.

it seems the chinese media always has some bias on ethnic-chinese players.
they would always write something like "because bai zijian and piao cheng are ethnic-korean players, it seems they are shy and not able to blend into the olympics team well", or referring to the uyghur players that they don't get chose for the first team because their chinese skill sucks.

the media won't put the same bias on foreigners lol.

Cos the media wants to point out a nonexistent difference between ethnic Chinese players and others...

Though if stating both these ethnic Korean players as 'shy', I guess the opposite implication is that ethnic Chinese players aren't shy but rather party mad arrogant cu*ts...which we all know is true too :p

1-0 Canton. Lippi is no Camacho, that much we know so far.

Camacho was an unmitigated disaster that was plain for all the to see from the moment the decision was announced.

With Lippi, it is a much different case, as I said earlier. For a reasonable critic, this decision deserves at the least the benefit of the doubt. And for a true fan, cautious optimism.

It's kinda hard to call Camacho a disaster from the moment the decision was announced. For the same reason, even the unreasonable critic should give Lippi the benefit of the doubt, or at least a chance to prove the decision wrong. His trophies deserve at least that much.

Hard for you probably. But it wasn't hard with Camacho really. Several people here called it the moment that news hit the wire.

Lippi is really different because it's different.

BTW, should any Chinese fan be happy tonight. Or still "nobody should" with you? 张琳芃 thinks we should. And some of us are. :D

    "张琳芃[IMG]:今晚的天体依旧是红色的海洋,但今天的红色不仅代表了恒大,更代表了中国!时隔六年的胜利属于全中国,继续加油,为荣誉而战!"

I disagreed with the Camacho appointment, especially the way the CFA went about it, but I was willing to at least give him a chance first (I think most rational people would be).

The same can be said about how Evergrande appointed Lippi. I don't know if Lippi is different or not, after all, he's only managed 3 matches, but I'm willing to give him the benefit of the doubt because he has an impressive trophy cabinet to back him up.

That's fine that you are happy, there are a lot of people that are, but I don't feel Hengda's win is a win for China, for the same reason non-Chelsea fans didn't celebrate Chelsea's Champions League win as a win for England.

On this point I'm sure we'll disagree, but it's part of the reason Chinese soccer is so backwards and the fan culture is so weak.

    Finally,你丫跟我提那个傻逼。我操,恒大的胜利属于广州恒大球迷的,说别的就是废话。

I don't have the time now to draw and redraw the pictures for you, so let's just say you're as usual wrong on so many counts it's almost funny.
