Well, first, what position do you play? If you are a defender, I dont know if you would want to wear the Vapors since you have to get physical and risk being stepped on repeatedly. The only reason one would not get the Manias is b/c they are 200 bucks, and K- Leather, so if you dont take the upmost care for them, they will fall apart.... I reccomend the Diadora Brazils, Nike Internationals, or the Nike Air Zoom Total 90 II's. All of these are great boots that last(you have to take better care of the brazils and internationals...k leather)....
i was wondering the exact same thing that you were, whether to get vapors or predators. i ordered both with the intention of keeping one and returning the other. while the vapors are very light, they don't feel very comfortable and seem like they would not last long at all. the mania's felt very nice and I think these are the best predators yet. they are a little lighter, more comfortable, and just a better feeling shoe than any of the past predators. you may also want to look at the supernovas, they are exactly like the predators just without the predator vamp.
get the mania's or the total 90 II's. I have vapors and like them but unless you have very very narrow feet they probably won't be the best. Plus i got real bad blisters the first time i wore um... ANyone else have this problem??
I play defender at times but like to use my speed to get on and attack and I LOVE light cleats. I'm looking at more than just the mania's and vapors as I am also considering the Shudoh's because I loved my 1st pair of blk/green puma cellerators.
Its all in the fit and what you like I have both shoes and I hate the manias and love the Vapors I know this will sound weird but the manias are too tight for my foor and the vapors are not, I guess its just how it streches, the light weight of the vapors is great i played two ful 90 minute games and 2 hours of pick up today in them and I couldnt be more pleased with the shoe other than the blister i got on my toe but it really is the first time I have played a game in them so i expected that but they are great shoes, i also think the manias are very nice shoes they are just not for me but you may be diffrent, the total 90 ll's are nice too I have them as well but they are not making them anymore or so i was told so if you find them snatch them up
nope, they arent making the total 90 II's anymore. Don't know if that means they are coming out with a new version or what...but you can't get them anymore...Eurosport only has a few sizes left.
i think only the white total 90 II's are discontinued. I was looking for a pair and the pesron at Eurosport told me they were getting more of the black ones in about a month.
