Thought I'd post some pics of my Vapor VIII after about 10 uses on mainly grass/3G. The pictures don't really show how bad the scuffing gets, it's a lot darker in the flesh, not that it bothers me at all. Not sure how I managed to make one boot look massive next to the other, clearly I'm no photographer
I know wht you mean - from a distance my vapors look brand new, but when you look at the closer they are absolutely covered in black marks and scuffs the upper is terrible! appleCORR
Eesh. When I look at photos like that it makes me question the upper on the Vapors durability wise. I really want to get some VIIIs though!
You seem lucky with your boots. I've heard other people complain about tears and studs falling off, mainly on here, but it seems quite common. I'm not bothered cosmetic wise either. I don't understand why people are so fussed about how the boots look.. All about performance and comfort for me!
I liked the new vapors when they first came out and the scuffs didn't bother me after all boots are made to be worn, the think that I did notice is after about 5 or so wears is that the upper seemed to go really saggy and didn't hug your foot anymore, I think that's how rips can of happened. I only wore mine for a bit to see what they were like and then went back to my adizeros. appleCORR
Nope, I had a size 6 in them, I'm always a size 6 in vapors and superfly. The upper was snug on my foot when I go them and then it just seemed to stretch like leather boots do after a few wears. I've been a 6 in vapors since the very first ones came out, so I definitely had the right size it's just the material the upper is made of I think. appleCORR
Interesting - I wonder if this has been rectified with the 'Leather' like upper that's being produced now.
