The Didavi news is a real downer. Gutted about it, but Bobic found the right words. And yes, of course we must still extend that contract. I think our reaction to this injury has served as confirmation to him that the club really does care about him as much as Nuernberg. Hopefully he gets well quick.

It has been a while regarding injuries, but this is definitely not good news:

Dang, is Ibisevic the only remaining striker? :(

Good thing they strengthened the squad to get through the inevitable unforeseen injuries. What a relief we won't have to won't have to fire the manager at the half-way point and barely survive relegation... or not.

Yeah, I just don't get it. I know there have been gripes (and still are) with Labbadia's tactics, but Bobic has been pretty bad with acquiring quality personnel. I know everyone was down on Hundt, and hopefully Wahler will be a better leader, but when will actual team changes come?

Thanks for the head's-up, JB-Bundesliga! Wow, I didn't know that. What cave have I been living in, right? Here's a link to the article on VfB's website:

I thought he'd gotten hit in the hand, but then it looked like he was holding his leg during treatment. Sorry to be right. That was a full kick he took. He's expected back for the HSV match, so that's better than it could have been.
