I saw the show Tuesday and was confused by the timeslot on Thursday. Has it moved to 9:30 on the East?
One more episode. Also, Ron Swanson is America: http://www.nbc.com/parks-and-recreation/video/Canoeing-with-Ron/1400258
Although there has to be some irony in reviewers of a show who receive early copies tweeting this: NBC, why does Canadia get the show before the US?
If Mike Schur doesn't get an Emmy for writing or directing that episode, there's no ********ing justice. Wow.
So... um... I was okay with Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler her losing by 21 votes. I'm also okay with Spoiler (Move your mouse to the spoiler area to reveal the content) Show Spoiler Hide Spoiler these fancy new spoiler tags.
man great ending to the season. really rare when a show can have me almost tearing up only to have me laughing my ass off in a matter of seconds (when Leslie finally gets to realize her dream of voting for herself in the booth and then bobby newport mucks the whole thing up). great show, great season.
That scene was ridiculously good. I was thinking of how they created a perfect emotional moment and then Rudd peeks his head in. The guy is crazy talented.
That was such a great end to the season. Plus, here's to Adam Scott's scotch spit take. Physical humor FTW. "Clear alcohol is for rich women on diets." All these years I've been living my life according to the future thoughts of Ron Swanson. And I've never been more proud.
That was pretty glorious. I enjoyed this finale, thought it was a particularly nice touch in the Ben and Leslie "Washington" scene to use the same staging as their scene season premiere. I think that Chris should reconsider his initial reaction to Jean-Ralphio as a possible assistant city manager. Also, I look forward to the infinite possibilities of Andy Dwyer as a police officer.
one of the small things i laughed at hard (had to pause DVR) was when Andy and April were trying to decide where they would move most of the list were the places named in the beach boy's song "Kokomo"
Also, one of them was "Winterfell." Which cracked me up. Very good episode, but I've got to say I'm pretty sick of Tom and Ann. They have to figure out what to do with those two characters (my suggestion: fatal car accident) because every second either one is on the screen is time wasted.
Mike Schur said that was all Chris Pratt. If you check out Hit Fix (Alan Sepinwall's page) and Vulture, there are extensive interviews with Schur on both. He's very defensive about criticism of Ann and Ann/Tom. I tend to agree - it's not my favorite thing, but not everything has to be heavy. Sometimes people do stupid shit that makes no sense.
Yeah, that was good TV. I got a little emotional when she was giving her speech. And apologies to sitruc for getting snippy about what didn't turn out to be a huge spoiler.
