I agree with starting Oxlaide-Chamberlain. I've agreed with the slow blooding of O-C thus far, but this is the last game of the season. We need some pace, something extra given that we'll be missing Arteta.

lol... despite them being club legends, that's a bit melodramatic. this is the same team that won 7 games in a row and beat City 1-0 comprehensively. We drew 3-3 due to our seemingly inherent inconsistency and bad defending.

I think we will win, and that the "right" team will turn up.

And that, ladies and gentlemen, is the triumph of hope over experience.

I hope you're right, I really do. We're a better team, and we should win. But we were the "better" team last week, and that didn't work out too well.

The good news is that Brunt (WBA captain) has decided to pop to the dentist and have his tonsils out so he wont be able to play us on sunday. Apparently he's hoping to get in team GB for the olympics and wants to be fit for that. Hopefully that means the teams priority is not with us.
Also Odemwingie and Thomas might not be fit in time. Fingers crossed hey

For DC Gooners: Lucky Bar WILL have the match live at 1000. One of the benefits of satellite television...basically, fuck Comcast.

My last Conan of the year! Sad!

Despite all of the craziness and everything else this year, it's been a real pleasure gentlemen. And I firmly believe we will win something next year.

    Here it is:

Ok, I called CSN about this. They say the match will air live on Sunday on CSN Washington. The guide has not updated yet, but it will be shown live. I cannot answer for the rest of the mid-atlantic

My DirecTV guide is showing the match on most of the regional SNs.

Edit: not really related, but we don't seem to have an open other teams thread right now, so... I just found out the Crew (where my son and I have season tickets) are hosting Stoke City in a friendly in July. I fear I may make an ass of myself.

Semi-regular, my brother has season tickets about 15 rows up from the visiting bench - prime Shawcross heckling territory.

I'm excited and saddened about the last match of the season.
Anyone interested in the Euros? What countries are you cheering for this summer?
