Haha, he makes Ronaldo look like a genius when it comes to managing careers. I'm sure they'll be someone foolish enough to sign on with his company.

Excellent work, Adriano. He is trying his hardest to leave Corinthians and come back to Flamengo. He got rejected before because Luxa was here. Now the doors are completely open....

You 2 are very courageous. Are you sure you want Adriano AND Ronaldinho at Flamengo. I think you guys are crazy but now you may get what you wish.

Question is ... does Flamengo have the balls to double down ? :p

This is insane, Adriano going to Flamengo would be quite a story. With all the complaining i've heard from Flamengo fans about R10 I can't wait for this.

We've had Adriano on our team before. We know what happens. Guess what? He produces unlike R10.

I think that was at a different period in his life, I mean really Corinthians had to lock him down in the team facility for a week pleading for him to get in shape plus hes expensive, fat, borderline alcholic, and not to mention his female drama. All I see him doing is eating really good food and getting laid and maybe playing 4 or 5 times at his convenience. Either way I can't wait its going to be a show i got my popcorn ready.

Not a bad stretch for Adriano financially. He received 3.6 Million Reais over a year and half which translates to about one Million US Dollars per goal scored. Wise Investment Corinthians!

Really though I think Adriano would do very well at my querido Mengao. He NEVER should have left. Yes there will be drama, and yes he will ******** around on the side, but in the end, with proper coaching/diretoria giving him some leeway, Adriano will produce. And you know at Mengao, you pretty much do what ever the hell you want if you got a huge name/patrocinio behind you; just look at Ronaldinho ousting Luxa for Luxa not giving R10 leeway to ******** around.

It was an accurate quote. He said São Paulo is a good culinary city, but it isn't for him. Rio is the place for him.

this thread should be called something else. he's been out of the NT picture for quite some time now.

it should be titled "on his way out of the buffet line"

Thing is, thread is from over 2 years ago. He still had a slight chance then. But now? It's all over baby.

I still can't give up on him totally - I remember that 2004 Copa America Final last seconds goal and have decided I am still in his debt.

    Nah,

It was more a case of the argentinos understimating us and paying the price for it than a merit of ours, or his.

Well not many athletes are born as gifted as Adriano especially with his physical abilities but yea hes pretty much done probably even in his club career.

This is pretty hilarious. Police in Rio made arrests and found packages of crack labeled with Adriano holding metralhadores. They also found packets with Jobson on them.

Of course, give him no credit because he did not play for Inter-RS at the time! Even though we only drew the game, that was one of my best ever moments watching the Selecao - it took the cockiness out of our 'brothers'! Very satisfying.

Shit ... it was a case of amazing luck. We got completely outplayed in that game. That goal came out of a prayer !

...........yes, which made it even more sweet! Some kind of belated come back for the 1990 World Cup injustice.

Nothing was best than destroying them at the 2005 Confederations Cup. And Adriano did played well that day. So credit goes where is due.

I was already like, oh ok. Let me go take a leak (just so I don't have to see their final minutes celebrating) then boom!!

    AHAAHAHAHA

It sucks to be them. D'alessandro was playing that day and recently he said that was one of the worst days of his entire life.
