After watching highlights of previous games goals and tonights it seems like Holgerson, the Swedish Statue is at fault for a majority of our goals. This guy is pitiful! Worst MLS defender ever. We got rid of Carlos Mendes for this???? WTF is Backless thinking? Sit this guy and play back line with 3 and we'd be better off. Guy is a human Statue!

The worst part is whenever Conde is healthy, Keel will be benched. Take out holgerson and put in keel when Conde is back. Keel isnt great by any means but he is better than Holgerson

Yeah, I was laughing by the time Pontius blew by him for the third or fourth goal.

Pontius is a very good but no defender should look like such a bystander.

    Where was Keel, injured?

Why try out two new guys against some of the best wingers in MLS?

Granted the back line weren't the only ones making mistakes but they have to at least keep us in games..

Mendes would have been a HUGE upgrade over the guys we have around the back four. He was a solid defender.. don't understand the logic of letting him go

    From Ives twitter:

Asked Hans Backe if he was worried about Holgersson struggling. His response? "You think he's struggling?" Cue puzzled looks

You gotta be ********in kidding me Hans.

    Wow. That is just...WOW.

I feel like when new players are playing badly (and he is playing VERY badly) that there are signs you can cling to which give you hope for the future.

I don't see any of those with Holgersson. Nothing about his play has been impressive or inspiring this season.

Holgersson kept talking about how in Sweden its more tactical, apparently that was just code word for "slow enough that I don't get called out for my total lack of athleticism". It was embarrassing how easily Pontius skipped past him on the 4th goal.

Yup. He did say that there were more "athletes" in MLS. Look Pontius is a good player but he ain't Charlie Davies or Dane Richards. You shouldn't be getting torched that bad by him.

Backe say that all his problem is adaptation to a different league and to his partners...

What this hog mean with that, he not give a freaking game to young players and he keep Helgersson seven games playing shit and now he defend him because don't give results, I will like him to give Lade, Borrego and even Palsson couple of games in a row, they need to be adapted to the game too and to the other players....

Him and Marquez have been the two biggest disappointments this season.
