Important game to see what kind of shape our team is in. Vancouver have had a good start but I think we'll learn a lot about them tonight vs KC.

Yeah, Vancouver is tough to figure out right now. Perfect defense until a major meltdown in San Jose, and a weak offense overall despite strong individual players. They haven't had two home games in a row until now, I believe, so that doesn't necessarily bode well for us. But then again they might expend a lot of energy trying to get something done against KC. I dunno.

    0-0 draw.

Give me 2-1 for the good guys. Blas continues his hot streak and someone odd picks up the other. Vancouver got rocked in KC (who isn't?) and is coming off the short week.

This one really depends on how SH lines up the team. If Jackson is ready in time, that would be phenomenal. Otherwise we really will struggle with procession and it's going to be an ugly game.

Le Toux is scrappy, a similar player to Blas perhaps, but more running and just a level below in technical class. Hassli is a wild card as he can rip one in from anywhere, he'll require Hartman to make at least one good save. Vancouver's midfield doesn't scare me much and they're defense is amongst the leagues most mediocre.

    Scrappy game, 1-1 draw.

OK, they've gotten blown out twice, but they've also gotten numerous clean sheets and DeMerit and Lee Young-Pyo are potential all-star defenders right now, IMO. I wouldn't call their defense mediocre, despite recent form against teams with unusually consistent offenses.

LOCAL DALLAS BROADCAST of Game will be shown TAPE-DELAYED tonight - starting as soon as the Rangers Baseball game ends on Channel TXA 21.
(Rangers game scheduled to be 6-9 - but likely to go longer, and the FCD game scheduled to start at 9)

So...set your DVR to record longer and GO Rangers! Put it away in 9 innings and do it quickly!

Direct Kick viewers probably won't be affected (but the article didn't say).

OK. Broadcast delayed for a long baseball game I understand. But showing the entire postgame show is just not showing your viewers any respect. But this is the life we've chosen...

Ok so I don't know if y'all are seeing the game, but [R], so Seitz should have saved that! I think that's one Hartman would have. CS was flat footed on his far post while Camilo was cutting in. Rodriguez shouldn't give him that much space, but that's a do-able save if your positioning is right.

I've watched that goal a few times, and I don't see how you can say that it was on Seitz. Camilo burned Rodriguez like toast and put the shot just inside the far post where no keeper -- whether it was Kevin Hartman, Iker Casillas, Lev Yashin, or Peter Stilton -- was going to get it.

All the Philly fans in the MLS forums of course blamed Seitz, but at this point, they'll blame Seitz if the Eagles go 4-12 this year.

I'm just watching on the internet so I didn't get too many looks, but it looks like to me Seitz is too close to his near post. Like the Santos goal on Ricketts midweek.

It was a perfectly placed shot. The only way Seitz would've gotten it is if he were damn close to the far post, and that would've been dumb.

Oh my god, Castillo can run through a defense for fun. Gotta have an end product though.

My thought exactly. His touches are questionable quality, and I guess that's the best we have in that position

Guarda is useless. Castillo is all speed and potential but doesn't really create or finish scoring chances, still developing and lots of top end potential but frustrating right now.

This team doesn't make the playoffs unless DF10 comes back healthy mid June and doesn't miss any more time due to injury (granted he won't be able to go a full 90 right when he comes back).

Gotta win the mid-week vs RSL.

RSL is a playoff team, LA will climb the standings as season progresses, San Jose looks strong, only a couple/few playoff spots up for grabs in the West and we've struggled vs a bad Montreal expansion team and now with a below avg Vancouver.

Wednesday is a big, big game.

I don't want go off on a rant, but...

NO WHAT'S FUCKING LAME IS COMING TO A SOCCER MESSAGE BOARD, GOING TO A THREAD WITH THE DATE AND OPPONENT OF TONIGHT'S GAME IN THE TITLE -- COMPLETE WITH THE "[R]" IN TITLE -- ASSUMING THAT EVERYBODY IN THE FUCKING WORLD WOULD NOT BE ABLE TO WATCH THE GAME LIVE, AND GETTING BENT OUT OF SHAPE WHEN SOMEBODY WHO DID WATCH THE GAME LIVE ACTUALLY COMMENTED ON THE GAME.
