Should the MLS institute demotions?

    Not really a lot to offer until conversation starts on the question. The MLS is relatively young. Also this would perhaps increase popularity of the sport in areas like VA who does not in any way have a major pro team(which is ridiculous). So what is the opinion of this forum on the topic?

    Seems mildly extreme. A car wouldn't suffice?

    at some point yes but the league isnt ready for that yet and the pool of capable teams in the usl is not up to par with the mls. let the league grow and the pool of players deepen and the popularity grow before we start going down this path.

    This is something that's been argued since well before I even signed up here. Suffice to say pro/rel won't be happening anytime soon.
