    Oh God, that's horrible.

When I become a zillionaire and buy this team, the first thing I'm doing is getting rid of the hooped shirts and going back to red shirts and black shorts. Suck it, Greg Elliott.

As for the USA jersey, eh I don't hate it.

I can't remember a worse US jersey. And yes, I'm including the horrific star-spangled denim things we wore in the 1994 World Cup. Those were at least trying for something bold and original.

Does the red knit cap come with or is that extra?

They're pretty bad. I think our hoops are 100x's better.

When was last time Brazil, Germany, Argentina and rest of the world changed National team jersey? Never

How can we build a history if we keep changing our NT jersey every few years.

I think they should go back to the pinstripes from a few years ago. You can walk into work or a bar wearing those and actually not feel embarassed.

i agree, i don't mind the red and blue jerseys with the sash, but tbh these new striped ones are terrible and most of the sash ones from recent years aren't much better

Once we win a World Cup you will never be embarrassed again by what they wear. Until then we have to keep changing our look until we find the one we win the whole thing in. ;)

Hey! Peru doesn't get to be the only team with a sash, just like Argentina doesn't get to be the only team in stripes.

I think everyone is missing the boat on this. With all the neutrals wearing the new USA strip it will seem that our away game supporter numbers will explode. That or it will look like our home games are all Team USA supporters. bugger

Unfortunately, the US does not have a traditional national uniform like most countries so we are continually jerked around by Nike who put out an entirely new design every year so they can get new sales. And we're not talking 2010 F-150 to a 2011 F-150 redesign, more like a 2010 F-150 into a 2011 Ram.

    Don't buy this jersey.

I told my roommate I didn't like the new jerseys. He looked it up online, and immediately purchased one. Some people are just gonna buy it because it's there.

There's a reason why FCD fans don't wear the kit around town, hoops look like clown ass.

I still say if the team had four titles wearing stripes you'd see lots of folks wearing them. I don't remember a whole lot of people wearing Burn stuff either. When they did and now do wearing stripes it stands out. Same for bumper stickers. Wow look there's a FCD bumper sticker.

well obviously people would, but you can say that about any jersey in existence... it still doesn't mean people have to like them. I've settled down a bit on my stance, but im really just not a fan of the design... i never liked fc dallas's uniform either for what its worth. However, if you told me we would win a world cup with this jersey. and if we changed it we would lose i'd be all for keeping the horizontal stripes (which contradicts what i said earlier i know)

Then again i never really liked the sash jerseys either. Honestly in general i haven't been a big fan of our national team jersey designs. It almost seems like they are trying to hard to make something that stands out at times. I honestly think they just need to keep it simple, make a navy blue jersey, incorporate a simple design using red and white that complements it well but doesn't look over the top

Am I the only one who liked the hoops? I liked them better than what we have this season...
