    Re: New USA Kits

Knowing Nike I could see that being your jersey. While the zags don't have anything to do with the US, Nike has been using the zags in their current Nike club jerseys. A lot of goalkeeper jerseys have the sleeves like that, and a lot of clubs that have historically had straight lines in their jerseys, now have zags in their jersey (look at Inter, Juventus for example). So I say there is at least a 50% chance that will be the new jersey or at least some of it will be accurate (maybe the zag sash).

This is an Hoax, when this picture came into this strand...It was clearly a joke. This is the US National Team we are talking about, not Club America goalkeeper's Jersey's. Don't buy into the hype. This is the worst Hoax since the Blair Witch Project. Very, Very Sad :(

There is zero percent chance that the zebra lighting bolt jersey will be our jersey.

Still think the sash with the stripes that is listed on Nike's website as US 12 is what we are getting.

A direct link will not work.

It the the new DQT jersey, shown as Virginia with blue and orange stripes.
The Holland template is the noth carolina jersey.

I dunno. I hope not. That's awful -- stripes and a damn sash? Way too busy. I'd rather have the Tony the Tiger shirt that someone posted above. If you're gonna have a sash, it might as well be lightning bolt-y.

It's not that I don't trust you and your anonymous sources, oh internet stranger on a soccer forum -- I just hope you're wrong.

The kit from the catalog looks very plain.

The proposed stripes/sash combo is so horrible, I doubt it's the real deal. I'd take the Don't Thor on This jersey over that any day of the week.

The stripe/sash combo is the worst kit I've ever seen. I'll take the denim shirts over that. I dunno, maybe it will look better with a different color scheme.

We'll have to agree to disagree. I think it looks like shit in white and grey.

+1 I don't like it at all... in any color combination i've come up with. It has WAY too much going on.

That jersey looks hideous but I doubt any of those are real.

    Re: New USA Kits

If they've had 2 years to come up with a new design, but instead just slapped some stripes on the design from last year...well that's pretty bad.

But until I actually see the official shirt (or at least a credible-looking leak, and not just some dude on Big Soccer trying to convince us he knows some guy who knows what the design is), it's pretty pointless to get worked up about this.

    Re: New USA Kits

Its terrible. nike better not stick us with that thing.

I would only hope for nike to put in at least half the effort in designing our shirt as they do for France or Brasil. Its for the home team afterall.

Fair enough but it is the design.
I have gone through this every time there is a new jersey.
    No worries.

The site won't let you change the color of the sash. So, imagine this with a white or red sash. Not crazy about it. I don't see how it's possible to make a shirt with both hoops and a sash look good.

Another problem with this design... there's no way I'd wear this anywhere but the stadium. I'd look like a total douchebag wearing this to the store, movie theater, etc.
