Don't know if there was a thread on this and if so I'm sorry. But is anyone going to the game against the Revs on the 22nd? I think I read that there's no official bus trip from the newsletter so I was just wondering if any of you guys are making the trip up the I-95.

As MetroFan living in Boston, will there be an away supporters section for the Revs match? Forza Metro!

You can buy GA tickets at the gate (they don't sell out those sections, just like we don't).

Assemble in 120, just look for other Metro fans. You don't need to get specific seats, just the regular General Admission tickets are fine.

I went to the season finale last season at Foxboro and sat with some of the other Metro fans. Heywood and Allezizou were two of em that I remember meeting. It was a lot of fun even though they lost. I'm gonna try to go since I'm 30 mins away in East Providence, but I have to attend my roommates graduation so I'm not positive if I'm going or not.

    I have Red-Sox tickets @ 7 PM so can't make it.
I'm sure the Boston fans will let me watch Metros-Revs on ESPN2 in the bah.

    What's up Otter!

I'll be there--in Sec 120 (the General Admission tix behind the South goal (opposite the fake lighthouse). With my Metro Jersey and Yankee hat!

    Hope to see y'all there!

Otter: Bring your graduating friends and their families. They'll have a ball!

Big Jake--How can you pass up a Metro game to see the Red Sux?

    Haywoode: Bring the attitude!

AtNacional: Why not have people come up and support the Metros?

Also, I hope to see y'all up here on June 26th for the other Metros v. Rev game. Hopefully, there will be a ESC bus trip. Bus trips up here have been very successful. Doesn't everyone remember last July 12 with the 3 goal 2nd half comeback and Timmy's last game? Maybe on June 26th Tenywa Bonseu will be playing his last game before joining Real Madrid!

Hate to break this to you, but for purposes of the 2004 MLS season, Section 120 and those at that end of the stadium are closed, and will not be open for the Metros vs. Revs game this coming weekend. Category III, GA sections have been reduced by half, and all GA seating is now in those seats in those seats immediately behind and adjacent to the North Goal.

I can also tell you that these sections have been pretty well filled to capacity for the first few games, a result of this new policy, and at least for the home opener, no Category III GA tickets were left or put on sale at the gate on gameday.

Had a large enough group been travelling to this match, efforts would have been made to request that the section behind the South Goal be opened up to some degree to accommodate the larger number of fans, but that won't be the case as best I understand for Saturday.

Any Metro supporters will be mixed right in with the Revolution fans.

FWIW: This is not a popular policy with Revolution fans either.

In response to The Magpie's post, I have put in a call and an e-mail to Revs front office for further info. I will post if there is any update.

For now, I propose based on the seating chart provided, that we congregate in Section 118 (the last section open near the South goal) which is still General Admission seating and try to get there early. We will also try to save a few seats for everyone else

Again--first go to SECTION 118 near the South goal (opposite the lighthouse) and try to find some fellow Metro fans there.

I will update if Craig Tornberg (Revs front office ticket dude gets back to me).

    BTW: Thanks Magpie!

    Zizou: pardonez moi!
It's a shame to be at a baseball game instead of the Metros-Revs. I will drink heavily upon arrival in Boston to drown my sorrows. I laid out too much for front row seats & hotel to blow it off. If the Metros game started earlier, I would have tried to swing both!

Why not actually post this in a relevant thread ?

Or check the MLS forum for the thread that covers this issue .

For anyone going, we will try to meet up towards the bottom of Section 118. If possible, try to arrive a little early to save some seats for your fellow Metrofanatics.
