Easy to like the way we play. Need a good-angle video/photo of that Messi pass to Xavi thing. Nice anyway. Nice nice nice. (good luck at LPB fans watching, hoping just maybe Getafe can get a draw tonight)
Upon further review... I don't think the WHOLE ball crossed the line. edit: It's strange how when CR7 trips himself in the box there's a half dozen replays and then this play gets one halfway decent angle. There are cameras planted all over the goal area, what gives?
Getafe with Burger King sponsorship on their jersey ?? Is BK big in Spain ? They are struggling big time in the US although they are launching a big campaign and revamping their menu.
Second camera view showed that it did cross the line. No one will mention this when they are crying that refs help Barca
There's quite a few around. I'm embarrassed to admit that I actually ate at one on Las Ramblas once. It was midnight and everything else was closed. Grrr.. Warning to anyone going to BCN: restaurants open late and close early. Do NOT miss that narrow, 3-hour window!
Look at Busquets trying to be Xavi/Iniesta Cuenca hasn't really been that effective on the right so far.
edit: here's your halftime reading re: BK in BCN! When I lived in BCN there was a legend about that Burger King. During the early years of US corporate globalization, when Burger King was one of the first franchises to appear in Catalunya, there was a case of a woman who went to the dentist complaining of a sharp pain in her gums. The dentist extracted what turned out to be a rat tooth (continuing the Ratatouille theme! ) from her mouth, and the case went public. The rat tooth was attributed to that Burger King location on Las Ramblas, and from that point onward whenever Barça would get shafted by dubious ref calls, Boixos Nois would come down from the Camp Nou to Las Ramblas and would throw bricks through that BK's windows. That is the reason, supposedly, that BK has such nice wood furnishings. They got such bad notoreity in Barcelona, they decided to ramp up the decor. This, BK hoped, would change the public's perception that rat parts are the secret ingredient in Whoppers.
Hamburger joints usually have kinda out-there mascots. Ronald McDonald doesn't exactly make you want to have a meal, does he?
