Sonofabee EDIT: Crossing my fingers for a bunch of walk-ups. Is Stade Olympique downtown or at least adjacent?
It's very close to downtown and easily accessible in car, bus or subway. Montreal is actually a pretty good city for last minute walks-ups. I'm just not sure if it will really matter since the game is really early this week.
And the game was very early. Yesterday was a holliday for many and this a long weekend, alot of people are outside of the city. Not bad considering all factors.
Looks like those sales figures I read were exaggerated. But apparently New York is not the draw in Columbus I hoped they would be.
I I don't think it will matter since your other bet paid off. That reminds me of when I used to produce concerts, I would always tell people that the expected number was much higher.
Man I'm bored tonight. The Phillies were mind-numbing tonight and I'm still in a daze or I'm just waiting for the Easter Beagle I guess. Anyway it was 16,870 in Salt Lake.
if dc united played in a stadium besides rfk (and the stadium was built with soccer in mind, or at least looked kind of nice) their attendance would be much higher (might be overstating it, but i'd say in the 20000s)... great memories of the redskins at rfk as a kid but now that place is kind of a dump TBH
