Montreal's supporters have black or blue because those are the two main team colors. The RedBulls have a white primary and blue secondary to go along with past and present(?) red items of apparel. Add in old Metro gear and it's not surprising that there's so much variety in the group. I think the multi-colored nature of the South Ward makes it unique in it's own right.
like someone else said it makes the group look unorganized & no unity. FCD has the same issue, people show up to games in random yellow, turquoise or other dfw sports teams - I'm sorry did you not get the memo that your teams colors are red & white?? It drives me f*ing insane.
The most important part is that they show up. Second most important is that they sing when they show up. A piece from the Whitecaps on the SoBs. http://youtu.be/fp9lUX7xMmY
Trust me, no one notices what colour the people of the "south ward" wear, we were too distracted by how empty it was. When you can see flags that were set down on a seat and didnt move for 90minutes, from across the stadium, you have bigger fish to fry than coordinating your outfits. Thanks for making us look good, though RBA is the only place where we'll sound good until we're done at the Big O.
Seattle invented being jealous about not being the first SG bio by whitecapsfc.com... (sorry, couldn't help myself, mods delete if I'm being too rivalry-ish)
Come spend 1 game in our ultra section and will show you how good we are we might not have the numbers like other organised group around the league yet. 90 min of standing singing jumping constant flag waving.................... To be continued at the SS
never seen a piece on the southsiders or the curva collective. Have i missed them? would just seem more natural to first do a piece on your own group(s).
