Call it a hunch, this has the makings to be Salihi's coming out party. With Santos's emergence last weekend, my hunch is that Sigi will key on denying him the ball, leaving Salihi more room to operate.

I'll call 2-1 DCU with both goals coming from Salihi. Seattle gets a cheap one by Marc Burch just to piss us off. Vamos!

B-Mac got a 1 game suspension from MLS... i guess for that tackle that was only worth a yellow.

Is Jakovic going to be ready by Saturday? As I remember the groin tweak from the LA game wasn't major...

Burch did not get a red card in that match. I don't know why people keep saying he did -- maybe it's a prolonged April Fools joke or something.

As I recall he's been on the bench the last couple of games. I don't think Benny would have him on the bench if he wasn't game ready.

I for one am excited about seeing Dudar and Jakovic together. This is exactly why we went out to get 3 starter level CBs.

I dont know what the score is going to be but i'm predicting that the DC wingers are going to go out of their way to embarrass Burch. Also I want to see Woolard switch field at one point and take Burch out, triggering a massive brawl.

Did this committee exist in week 2 when Beckham was trying to break our ankles?

Pairing Dudar and Jackovic was bound to happen. Hopefully this works and we have good defending with intelligent passing out of the back. I'm sure Ben has had Jakovic on the bench since White is injuried.

With all the sh*t t*lking B*rch is doing, I'm sure the younger guys are ready to shut him up.

Hopefully this is Sahili's breakout game just like last week was Santos'.

For Burch, the question shouldn't even be who is the better LB, because the real issue was who is the better value at LB for teams with a salary cap. In United's situation, there's no sane way we should have held onto him.

Being and acting like a professional, he should recognize this and not throw Woolard under the bus llike that.

Of course, this is the same guy who while sitting on the bench at a USOC game at the Plex spent most of the game WE WERE LOSING turning around and smiling and making googly eyes to some young woman in the stands near me, and joking around with the guys on the bench next to him.

My opinion of him as a player never recovered. He should probably watch his mouth.

I hope the guys completely ignore him and his mouth. Spending any time on it (other than maybe in practice for fun) is a waste of time. If they give a minute of thought to Burch, they're ignoring the 10 more dangerous players on the field ;) yes, I am including their goalie.

For the life of me, I can't figure out why people are so obsessed with Burch. Trust me: if we lose this match because of Marc Burch, we've got far bigger problems.

I don't care about Burch. I care about preventing Evans and Alonso from controlling the midfield, and preventing Montero from finding his groove again.

I care about Burch the way I care about the feral rabid cat in the woods behind my house. I feel bad for the unfortunate little bastard, but I'm not going to go pet it and feed it.

And yes the cat is more afraid of me than I am of it ... much like the way Burch will be feeling when he looks up at Cruz barreling down at him.

Because he talked a little smack about us; and because some (not all) people who dealt with him in one regard or another found him to be a little bit of a dick.

What smack did he talk about us? All I've seen is a quote where he says he wants to prove that DCU made a mistake in letting him go; and that's exactly what he *should* say.
