Obviously I don't have any inside knowledge I'm just making that up myself but who knows, Edmonton need defensemen so it might be a potential deal. They'd still be able to grab a player like Dumba or Murray at #5.

Can't wait to hear Don Cherry Saturday talk about Spencer!!!

I heard the rumblings similar to Real Corona heard. I doubt CLB will move though as how can they lose Nash and also trade a first round pick when they want to rebuild. EDM may be a better choice as they are well into their rebuild.

No Leaf is untouchable...Luke, Jake...Kessel. Lupel...doesn't matter. Whatever will help this team get better is fine with me.

It will go along the lines of "Well he listened to me though it wasn't an OHL player but one of them college players"

There are two issues with Columbus

    1. Nikita Filatov and Nikolai Zherdev

    2. Columbus management history

both are terrible, which is why I think they'd consider trading an elite talent like Yakupov for something slightly less...... uh... Russian.

Oh Darcy Tucker. I remember the Avs marketing team trying to spin him off as a big free agent acquisition.

Fans chanted "Let's go Blue Jays" last night. At least we lost...shame that we lose 7-1...that means we will put a decent effort against Buf on sat. night...then again, we're lucky to get a goal against Miller the way he's playing as of late. Go Sabres!!!

We've lost 11 home games in a row...hope we lose in regulation saturday!!

Sabres are on fire, 5 wins a row and 7-1-2 in their last 10. They're now sitting tied for 8th with Washington. Perfect time for us to be playing a home-and-home with them! :D

^ YUP...Buf won't relinquish that 8th spot now...especially when they know they play the Leafs twice.

Watch us go and beat them back to back...

This team has been going through the motions the past while. I don't expect much the rest of the way.

    Stupid segment!!!

I like how they criticize Dion...what other leaders do we have on the team? Komo...when he plays every 3 games. Army's 4 minutes of ice time and Grabo who can't speak english. The closest leader we have is Brownie. We need to put the A on players who actually play and not sitting in the press box.

The Draft lottery is won by Edmonton, they'll be picking 1st overall for the third time in a row. Leafs stay put at #5. As is the Leafs have the current selections in the entry draft:

    (1) 5th
    (2) 35th
    (5) 126th
    (6) 156th
    (6) 157th (ANA)
    (7) 210th (NYR)

Honestly, I don't get how the NHL and NBC want Hockey to grow in this country (the US) when they freaking tape delay the goddamn draft lottery.

Just makes me angry how naive and stupid the TV guys must be down here.

Unless TSN gave the NHL network half price for a half hour later, it makes no sense.

EDIT: Nevermind I'm an idiot. It was on NBC sports

Move along, nothing to see here.

    So here's a question.

Luke Schenn to the Oilers to swap picks?

Gardiner to the OIlers to swap picks?

    Would Toronto do it?

    Would Edmonton say yes?

The United States must be really hard up for players as they've called upon Joey Crabb  Phil Kessel has bowed out claiming a wrist injury...

Dion Phaneuf will be joining Team Canada.

Ummm, last year we had a KHL player and two NCAA players.

This year we have Ryan Lasch who plays in Finland.

Joey Crabb is actually going to be a good pick up for us.

Our #2 and 3 centers right now are Nate Thompson and Nick Bonino.

Crabb's competition for the wing role on the 3rd line is Cam Atkinson and Pat Dwyer.

    Yeah

Phil Kessel also dropped out admitting he's a pansy.

Marlies won their first game of the playoffs last night 4-3.

At least we have some type of playoffs in T.O.....
