http://www.bigdsoccer.com/2012/3/23/2897829/fc-dallas-practice-live-3-23 Some Dallas news....looks like no Ferreira or Castillo. Scheduling is pretty sweet for us in this one.
And before anyone says it, we've done better under Vermes about not playing down when playing an undermanned team
I'm guessing I'm not going to able to get into lot F without a season ticket pass thingee even if I get there before 3pm. Or is there a chance ?
Are you sure? I thought the game was at 1PM? That is time being put on the tickets. EDIT - Damn, you're right. Everything I have looked at up until now has said 1PM. This really, really sucks.
You'll be able to get into the lot, you just won't be able to park there. (Although if last week's game is any indication, that might not be entirely accurate.)
Times are different these days but remember at the CAB when we moved a game for KU bball in the tourney? Hint, hint. Just saying,.
That game wasnt on national TV and it was a Final Four match-up. I think that if it were a Final Four game and there wasnt a TV issue, the team would do it again.
We're taken much more seriously now days. I would be disgusted if they moved a game to suit the needs of collegiate fans from any side. You don't see the NBA or NHL moving games to avoid the Final Four.
So you suggest they will move the KU game to 1pm to accommodate the national FC Dallas audience ? Don't sweat it, Baylor is going to win the whole thing anyway. Just a couple of obscure teams from Lexington and Louisville to get by followed by a blowout against teams coached by ex KU or KU coaches. I'm mainly a Big-12 fan so I'll be rooting for both Baylor and Kansas.
That's false. Other major league teams in other markets have moved games for other teams in there market over the last few years. I believe the Red Sox moved the time of a game for a Bruins playoff game a couple of years ago. I have seen it happen a few times over the last few years. It's not unprecedented for it to happen. If you dont have a TV commitment that prohibits the move and you believe it will impact business, it would be a wise decision to move a game to accommodate your customers. The team is a business like any other, they adjust to ensure they will maximize revenue if it doesnt violate commitments to business partners such as TV companies. I guarantee you will see empty seats tomorrow or people rolling in late because of the game. If we had a game next Saturday, KU were playing, and Channel 62 didnt mind, I bet the time of the game were adjusted. I bet the same thing would be done if MU had made the Final Four.
dude, this is the second time in a week you have written something after someone else has already said the EXACT thing... I got to call you out on it... read the rest of the posts before you respond... jeez...
Does anyone know if there is any kind of agreement or whatever that would make them have to turn off the KU game at the start of the SKC game if they overlap.
